Great episode. The gave us a bit of the ultra-violence. I've been very pleased all season and can't wait for the battle at the wall next week.

Seven ****ing Hells! that was a brutal death, even for GoT. But is The Mountain dead too? cuz it seemed liek it. What does it mean if both of them die in the Trial by Combat? Or is it whoever dies first?

Whoever dies first.

Also is this the best line of the episode (contains massive spoilers BTW)?

Wow! did that end badly for the "champion".:csad:

I had just read all this casting stuff about his daughters and how they would start shooting in Spain for Dorn, so I thought he would survive, damn!
Hopefully one or several of his progeny take up his cause to settle the vendetta.

Although they better not use the word champion.:funny:

That Tyrion and Jaime scene was equal parts goofy, weird and awesome. I busted out laughing like 3 or 4 times during it

They captured that scene so well. When Oberyn started yelling the words... oh god. JAYSIS. REEKRIS.

Damn, that was way more brutal than I recall when reading it.

I'm surprised at how much I'm loving the Vale stuff, tbh, but I'm wondering where they're planning on going from here, given where they are in the books.

I've gotta admit, I'm honestly not that excited about the Battle of the Wall (more interested in the finale this time, which is a change from previous seasons), but at least with Neil Marshall directing, it should be fun to watch.

Well, when push comes to shove... a book is a book, haha. None of us (I hope) have ever actually seen a head get smashed in. So even when you're reading about it, you can't really picture it all that clearly. On TV... they provide the gruesome for you.

Man...aside from 1 episode where almost nothing happened, this season is hands down the best one so far in my opinion! Holy cow that was ridiculous!! Sometimes I curse myself for not being more into books but times like these I'm thankful I haven't read them. OMG!

I gotta say...this is probably one of my favorite episodes of all the seasons. So many major things that happened! I LOVED Emilia's acting when she threw Jorah out. Both of the actors brought it in that scene but Emilia was just on POINT! She's so hot, hehe!!

Question though, why did Arya start laughing when they told her that her Aunt died?

And the show has sound. God that scream...:waa:

He just wanted a confession that it was Tywin that gave the order and if he got that he probably would have went after Tywin at some point and died anyway.

Well, the importance of it being that he wanted a public confession out of Tywin. He could have gone after him individually anytime he wanted.

Holy Mother of a God .

I was more impressed at the Oberyn/Tyrion exchange that went something like...

Oberyn: Size doesn't matter when you're flat on your back.

Tyrion: Thank the Gods.

Man that laugh from Arya...... she is The Joker in the making.
