There's a part of me that's gonna really miss Rust and Marty. I did a bit when I watched this trailer. But I'm so excited for what's to come with Ray, Ani, Frank, and Paul.

I predict now that Farrell's going to blow us away with his performance.

That's been my thought from the start. He's SO good when he gets a worthwhile role to chew on, imo. I really hope Rachel gets some good material to work with too, though, and gets to be more than the token female of the group.

By this point, it's hard to say who can potentially be my favorite or the most interesting to me. Right now all four could be. Though Farrell and McAdams do the most for me right now.

I feel bad for them. Such a perfect freshman season is really more like a curse than a good thing, lol.

its not really... fair?.. to put True Detective in that category. Its basically a new show now, so.

Essentially yeah.

But that's sort of the best and worst of things potentially. You technically have the freedom of a brand new series with new actors, settings etc. but you're still going to get non-stop comparisons to the previous season.

When AHS did the whole 2nd season change-up that seemed to work out pretty well though, even though its impact in the first season was nowhere near as big as TD.

Taylor and Vince look awesome. Man, this trailer was great. I'm sure it will be as good as season 1, even though we will never forget Marty Mcfly and Rusty.

Wasn't this supposed to take place during the 70s? Only Farrell looks like he'd be from that time period.

Farrell is a great actor who just makes bad film decisions. But when he is in the zone, he is one of the best.
