Farrell, father of the year.
I gave a perfectly logical excuse for giving up on the season. The first episode was lousy (acting, writing, direction, all of the above) and I'm not throwing money down the drain in hopes that it improves.
Give him a break guys...if I watch a first episode of a show and don't enjoy it, I often won't watch the next episode. If the show isn't giving me a reason to keep watching, why keep watching?
That said...I thought this episode was pretty good. The characters didn't hook me the way the first season's did...at the moment they are just a pack of depressed people that I don't really care about. But, I did like it enough to see if the next few episodes really hook me.
I was digging Vince and Farrell though
the murder victim... eyes melted by acid... penis cut off... chillin at a picnic table... then drunkards Farrell and McAdams show up with the ******* king Kitsch... good ending... Like Sawyer said, it should have been maybe 10 minutes sooner and have a bit more between them to start the season... I was digging Vince and Farrell though
10 minutes sooner? Pssh. It should've been 10 minutes into the episode IMO.
See the thing is while I really didn't enjoy this episode I loved the first season enough that I probably would continue watching if not for the fact that this was literally the only reason I kept my subscription past last Sunday. Probably should have just mentioned that from the start.

anyone else notice Farrells red head kid... and Vince's lady... red headed..
might be a slow burn, but I'm with it so far.
They established at the start with the lawyer scene that Velcoro's son was born from his wife being raped but he still tried to raise the kid as his own. Frank Semyon helped him find the guy for revenge and that's how he ended up on his payroll.
