Oh, Lordy.

If a guy came across as this nice and polite this consistently, but was really a jerk behind the scenes, it would probably be brought to light. We'd get at least some rumors or hints of it, especially nowadays. It's hard to hide something like that completely. The way his costars talk about him, the way Amy Adams talks about him, etc, etc. It's like with Snyder, all we ever hear are nice things about him from those who work with him. I am not claiming Cavill is an angel as he is human, after all, but Grace would really need to back this claim up.

I feel like it's credible precisely because he comes across as too unrealistically proper and congenial at all times. I don't think Grace was insinuating that he's some kind of degenerate. Just that he butts heads with people and is a tad self-important. Or abrasive. Or entitled. Or litigious. You know. Some variation of that kind of disagreeable behavior/attitude. Nothing extreme.

^......huh?

Based on????

Like I can kinda give it a thought of The Rock might be a d*** behind scenes because of all the FF -ve rumors, but Henry butting heads with who??

Would Man of Tomorrow relate to Superman or Brainiac? Deep thoughts by Jack Handy.

A beloved Superman comic called Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? by Alan Moore features Brainiac as a villain.

According to Grace, Cavill ain't as nice of a guy as he seems and has made enemies in the DCEU and at WB. That it's not his agent that's demanding like 50 million or whatever ridiculous sum, it's actually him consigning that request.

Did she have...anything to back this up or?

Most of the time she spouts bullcrap so forgive me if I'm a little skeptical. I can buy Cavill being a little greedy and overestimating himself, but "making enemies" in the DCEU and at WB? What.

Grace is full of s#$it with this one. Every co-worker and collaborator gushes about working with Henry. McQuarrie had major kudos throwing Cavill's way. That doesn't happen. When you're on set for hours on end, you get to know people's ugly REAL fast. From every report out there, Henry is constantly in uncomfortable situations and has never complained once. I don't buy this. What Grace is saying is all hot air rumor mill. We haven't heard this about Henry before. Now within the past week when rumors circulate, so does reaching from left field.

Not to mention she's capitalizing on Cavill's recent guff about the #MeToo movement.

If he was a bad dude, we'd know about it. Especially nowadays.

Exactly. The man isn't a goddamn push over. Hollywood is one helluva business to survive in and it will chew you up and spit you out if you can't at least have a backbone. Its a business first. Get some.

SS2 got new writers (the Gotham actor) so ya some things changed.

Prob means SS2 is NOT cancelled

Do you mean Todd Stashwick? Btw, he was also a key character on the show 12 Monkeys, which, if anyone hasn't watched it, you should, it's an amazing show. It just finished its 4 year run.

But going back to Todd Stashwick, he is a comic book fan and is also a writer. He's been on a few episodes of DC Popcorn and he has legit geek cred if anyone wants to watch:

You mean, like an actor then.

She was divulging info her source gave her. You don't really back up insider info. You'd back up like... a hypothesis or an assumption.

Anyway, it could very well be that she's lying or that her source is lying. We don't know. This is the video in question:

I normally adhere to the saying of don't judge a book by its cover but I have never had a good impression of Grace. Even her thumbnail pictures on her YouTube videos rub me the wrong way.lol

tldr version (slightly paraphrased):

He thinks he not only deserves A lister money but also A lister treatment, which has become a sore point not just with WB but with people in front of and behind the camera in the DCEU. I don't know how many people would be sad to see him go, if he was replaced. Let's just say he doesn't have a lot of friends there at the DCEU.

Sounds like this blogger is one of those people that dump s*** on people when they are going through difficulties or controversies so she can come out and say how awesome she is, there are so many people like that it's easy to recognize.

Here's a meaningful current affair and event to compare to Henry's rumor

In our country we happen to be monitoring the situation with our hottest politician right now, he is a respected surgeon and claims to be neutral, the whispers were quite loud that the majority of his workmates dislikes him which was why he got kicked to the unimportant basement.

He got the support by the opposition party in 2014 and won the capital city's election, his ally won the big one 2 years later and are now in power, then suddenly he went 180% with his values and attack his own employees/ministers i.e. firing them then use internet platform to humiliate them afterwards, and brand them with negative words. He started attacking his allies who are less popular than him so he can prop up his own polls.

Eventually the supporters had seen enough and literally forced the higher ups to send their own candidate for the election at the end of this year, challenging him, even though they have a big chance losing and handing over the position to the previous party with power.

Most of his friends and allies and supporters are against him now, though he's still the highest rated politician because most people don't bother monitoring these details.

But the point is, if Henry's like that, gentleman in the public and a total d*** and backstabber under table, a bunch of people who were hurt or have beef with him would have leaked info about that.

Not f***ing Grace Randolph.

Like seriously why do people post her s*** again over the last week? She's known for talking s*** for the last few years.

Only last few years ? Really ? She's made a career out of it.

Thanks, I saw that vid a few weeks ago and it was a good talk. Will try to catch the 12 monkeys lol

Haha I have no idea because I don't pay attention to rats

I don't put stock in anything Grace says, but I also wouldn't find it at all far-fetched to learn that Henry can be difficult or entitled. Nor would I care. I mean, he's an actor.

Henry standing his ground on asking for more money from WB doesn't even the slightest bit make him a bad guy. At the end of the day these people are actors and became actors to get PAID. End of story. I'm sure Henry's a lovely human being....but he's also a HUMAN being and he's allowed to not be Superman when the cameras aren't rolling. Believe me, when Henry saw what they did to his face and thus his performance in JL, I'm sure he wasn't acting all Mr Rogers around everyone. He was probably pissed the f*** off and if I were him I'd tell the higher ups you need to properly compensate me for making me the butt of Justice League's jokes.

I mean actors sometimes don't sleep properly for days and there's no reason to be tough in negotiations before continuing the partnership.

Maybe Henry is secretly a psychopath as most Hollywood celebs are (cough) but at least when he's presented to the world even in crap situations he acts professional 99.9% of the time and he doesn't crack and become a mess like, Ben Affleck.

I mean... His pay day for Man of Steel was 14 million wasn't it? He was probably offered that amount or more for MOS2. There's really no need to up the ante from there. That's plenty of money. Even if he didn't play hard ball, he'd get paid. A lot. His pay day for MOS alone is more than Mark Strong's entire net worth and he's been a working actor for almost 30 years. No idea how much he got for BVS and JL but it was likely around that ballpark. After those pay days, does he really need to be paid RDJ figures? He's already more than set for life and doesn't need to push for more. I get it, it's a different paradigm in Hollywood. It's not unusual to earn more than you'll ever be able to spend... But yeah it just comes across as greed to me personally.

Lol, we don't even know what Cavill's life is like. We have no insight into his financial state or how he distributes his money. And we have no clue how WB might be planning to use him in the DCEU moving forward. If the man wants to get paid, let him get paid. This is years of his life he has to sign away.

And breh, why bring up Ben? These are such unrelated situations. Feels like a cheap shot.

I can care-less what Henry signs on for and/or the number he is asking. Whatever he gets, he'll get. As a dude, I learned two things from a young age: #1. Never mess with another man's girl and #2. Never put your nose in anybodies bank account. All I want is to see the dude don the red cape again. Whatever he makes is irrelevant to me as a fan. However the business works behind closed doors isn't my right to know and I'll never judge anybody on this planet for getting theirs.

Yah...thing is, how did you convince yourself that the RDJ rumor is true?

Bloggers again?

Because looking at Ben makes me think how professional Henry is?

The guy's back and forth about his status and now most fans are numb and exhausted, whereas Henry's being professional and tidy majority of the time and his head was called for?

Would I even bother spending the time and energy to raise a bit of voice (though small) about giving Henry a sequel if he behaves like his DCEU partner?

Nah
