Ok, i'm fed up of working on this.

Nice job.

The irony is that the entire scene was unnecessary. They could have easily cut that scene out and avoided the embarrassment. Why any executive or the director (Whedon) for that matter would look at that scene as bad as the CG is and allow it to be placed in the film is mind boggling.

I wonder if the returned Superman will bring back the classic suit.

I’ve speculated the same like the Rebirth suit.

This is yet another example of how an everyday fan is capable of doing something better for this movie than the so called paid professionals who had millions of dollars to use at their disposal.

I can confirm this. Even the photo manipulation took me way too long. Kind of embarassing how long i spent on this just out of curiosity to see if i could "fix" it.

Do you guys think Henry worked out this time as much as he did in MOS and BVS?. Looking at scenes from the film, like the Kent farm with Lois scene and some BTS shots he didn't appear as impressive a shape as the previous two. Could just be me, I don't know. Seemed his build was mostly padding on the suit this time.

I think HC looked alright in Superman vs rest of the League scene, this time they used a new muscle suit with less 'defined muscles'.

As the muscle suit (which is under the regular suit) was not very thick, he looked less bulky, they tried to compensate that with more 'painted on muscles' pattern on his regular Blue suit.

Henry is a workout junkie. If there's one thing he isn't skimping on, it's in the weightroom. Question is where his body was at with MI:6. That film may have demanded a different body type and Cavill could have had a slightly different build but he did do his own stunts, which requires for the body to be in shape. I just think the JL's suit overall failed in the wrong lighting. The suit looked great in the Alfred clip but Zack intended the suit to be made off of his techniques and not Whedon's and it showed.

But if you look at the deleted scene with Alfred I think Henry looks very skinny there. Not skinny for the average person obviously but compared to his broad, thicker physic in MOS and BVS I definitely though he looked quite skinny. But to each his own. Guess I'm just seeing something off that simply isn't there.

I think it's just the way the suit was veried and fit to the body. They make 100 different variations for each circumstance and as the movies go, they try to find ways for the actor to move and be more comfortable. With that comes seam changes, different materials and molds, etc. Henry is a pretty swol dude regardless. I think it's basically just the make of the suit thinning him out.

I don't know why for the opening scene to help with the 'tash-gate' why they didn't just keep a distance and show superman from afar, say from a passers by perspective, or a tired, weary fireman watching in awe as superman captivates the kids. We can have a shot of just supes eyes as he explains the meaning, a shot from behind, looking down over his shoulder at the kids as they are so engaged. Almost like a voice over and we cut to heroic actions, or imagery of Krypton or kids out there in superman t shirts stopping bullies, i honest can't see how JW or WB were happy with that scene, ZS must have lost his mind seeing that scene.

Actually, it's weird, but I watched JL with my coworkers and none of them were privy to the mustache-gate debacle...So, after the movie was over I explained the deal and none of them noticed. I was like, "really? y'all didn't notice Supermans' face looked weird during some scenes?"

Nope, none of them noticed. WB may have slid by on that one.

Definitely an improvement. In the film's version, it looks like a cartoon mouth sucking on a jawbreaking.

Oh I'm not saying the guy doesn't keep In shape. I think he keeps in better shape than most actors who have downtime from playing Superheroes. He just seemed smaller to me. Shoulders, traps and chest don't seem to be as big or defined as they were in MOS in or out of the suit.
