‘The Flash’ CW: 4 Reasons Why We Can’t Wait To See Killer Frost In Season 2




The CW released a new promotional trailer for "The Flash" season two that confirms Earth-2 Killer Frost will appear in the show once it returns from the winter hiatus, writes Comic Book.

4. Danielle Panabaker Will Be Able To Show Off Her Acting Skills

Fans are used to seeing Panabaker as the kind-hearted Caitlin Snow who is a loyal friend to Barry and has helped stitch him up after a few fights with nefarious metahumans.

It will be interesting to see "The Flash" star portray a villain who is the polar opposite of Caitlin and introducing Killer Frost in the second half of season two is an excellent way for Panabaker to show off her acting chops.


3. It Gives A Hint Of Caitlin Snow's Future

In the original comics Caitlin Snow becomes the villain Killer Frost after H.I.V.E. agents attempt to killer her by trapping her inside of S.T.A.R. Labs' self-sustaining thermodynamic ultraconductor engine, reports Comic Vine.

By introducing the Earth-2 version of Caitlin Snow and having her already be the villain known as Killer Frost, it is an interesting glimpse into the young scientist's future.


2. It Will Be Heartbreaking For Barry To Meet Earth-2 Killer Frost

Even though Barry knows that Earth-2 Caitlin Snow is not the same person as his friend in S. T. A.R. Labs, it is going to be heartbreaking to see his reaction and knowing that there is a chance his teammate could become a villain in the future.

There's a chance that Barry could even try to convince Killer Frost to embrace her humanity even though he knows deep down that she's dedicated to being a villain.


1. Killer Frost's Appearance Will Allow Force Barry To Become A Better Fighter

Killer Frost's appearance in "The Flash" season two will force Barry to perfect his fighting skills. After all, not only is he fighting a villain who is a doppelganger of his best friend, but he'll also have to defeat a metahuman who is just as strong as he is.

It's gonna be cool to see her in action.

I'm really glad that she's getting a couple of episodes with her in a lead-type role. I really feel like Caitlin has done nothing for the last 4 episodes, with the except of saying one line to Jay.

I think they should play up her biologist and straight-man angle more. Cisco is cool cause he builds the toys and he's enthusiastic about everything that's happening. But she's pretty funny too when she's crushing his outlandish nerdy dreams.

Maybe they could one day get Kay Panabaker as a doppleganger from another earth. She would look slightly different (because she is different) but they could say that she just developed differently under alternate circumstances.

I'd prefer her to be somewhat of an antihero if she turns myself, not full on villain like she seemed to be here. I think tonight's episode practically confirms that she'll get her powers though.

Killer Frost was awesome. Got Catwoman vibes and a bit of Dark Willow from the character. She even hesitated when Barry called her "Caitlin" This is gonna be interesting. I've been waiting for this character since last year. So cool that she's the first live action. They're gonna play up the anti-hero persona and it'll be dope. Danielle is so sexy.

I don't know you guys, I actually thought she was pretty bad. I find her unconvincing as "good" Caitlyn and as KF, I found her even harder to believe. I did enjoy evil Cisco though. I wish he would have survived and taught E1 Cisco how to use his powers to their full potential. Killing him off was a waste.

I feel like she's kinda been off this season, mostly because they've reduced her to nothing but Jay's hook-up.

I feel like there was so much potential for her early in the season and dealing with Ronnie's death, but they skimmed past that and put more focus on Legends stuff.

I will say though, Cisco said that when she cares for someone, they become her whole world, so I wouldn't mind if she took a darker edge on Earth 1 if Jay does turn out to be a villain or something. I can't imagine what that would be like, to feel like you lost the person you care about for three years straight.

I feel that as Killer Frost, Danielle got more to showcase as an actress. I hope we see her evolve into this character in Season 3.

She saved the ratings. They shot up from the last two episodes all due to KF appearance. I liked the Elsa reference. I think keeping Reverb around is a bad idea. He'll turn on anyone, you can't trust him. KF was breakable. You saw her hesitate when Barry called her Caitlin.

Huh? I'm sorry, but do you have some proof of this? How do you know it's not just because they went to Earth 2 and people were interested in seeing that? I mean, you might be right but I don't see how you could know that for sure.
