I don't think they should do the comic outfit, but I think tis looks kinda bland. She looks like another Black Canary.
For ice based heat vampire they could've done something cool.

I loved it. But I've been thinking about this.

The show has time travel, and infinite possibilities.

I'd like to see Killer Frost. I'd like to see Caitlin as Killer Frost. But I don't know if I really want to lose Caitlin.

If that makes sense? Perhaps in a different timeline or a parallel universe this happens and she makes her way into modern day central city. But I don't know if trading off a series long supporting character for a one season bad guy is a good trade. Although it would obviously be really emotional, ala slade in Arrow's season 2. Yet just like Slade, she'd be missed.

Yeah, this has opened the possibility for that, and it could be nice.

However, obviously if the real caitlin becomes killer frost, then it's a lot more drama. A lot more rewarding story can be told but then we effectively lose caitlin.

An 'alternate universe' caitlin sounds more like a villain of the week than a season's arc. And Killer Frost is kinda a big deal.

I think they'll turn her. But I don't think it'll be as soon as season two. Who knows, maybe they could redeem her afterwards and bring her back into the fold.

I am fine with her becoming Killer Frost, as long as any villainy is temporary. Given that Cisco is now a confirmed metahuman, no reason Caitlin couldn't gain ice powers and still be a part of the team. Especially if her powers are unstable and dangerous enough that she can't safely use them very often, which would explain why she remains supporting cast and the Flash still primarily works solo in the field. I'm imagining something along the lines of a body suit that combines Cisco's power nullifier fields with some form of constant heat supply.

I doubt this is her final look. It was probably something they prepped in about 10 minutes before shooting. When she actually appears, she'll have had concept art and a costume designed for her.

I actually dig that look for Killer Frost on the show. I do hope it's our Catlin that turns into Killer Frost in Season 2 or 3 (preferably in the latter half of season 2). It would seem kinda weak to have an alternate version of Catlin be Killer Frost and be beaten in like one episode like the other metahumans have on the show. It would hit harder for the team if it was the Catlin we all know from season 1.

True! Maybe she was just unfamiliar with that scientific (?) term. Or she was distracted by Ronnie's good looks?

I wouldn't mind if Killer Frost is Caitlin from an alternate reality. I think it could be quite interesting to see the two Caitlins meet face to face and for Team Flash to figure out a way to stop Killer Frost without actually hurting her because she's essentially still Caitlin.

But, ideally I'd like to see our version of Caitlin become Killer Frost and for Ronnie as Firestorm to "cure" her (potentially sacrificing himself in doing so).

That is a pretty lady. I think her asking what a singularity is , was for the general audience. I would expect her to know. Her character is more a medical doctor than a physicist though.

Even so, not everyone uses the term "singularity" and not everyone is focused on physics terms. Just simply "blackhole" is the popular term and it was clearly for the audience. No big deal.

Faux pas on the writers. They can always fix that in s2. She's proved herself to be smart enough. I had to admit I thought they were using Caitlin to explain science jargon to the audience. Couldn't she just tell us herself? The writers need not make her naïve. Cisco and her are on the same intelligence level. I loved the blonde wig and emo look.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. I'm not too fussed if Caitlin isn't completely familiar with the term (someone needs to be in order for the characters to explain it to the audience). After all, her field is bio-engineering. Ergo, she's not a physicist. Contrary to popular belief, being a scientist doesn't make you instantly well versed and an expert in every field of science out there.
