(On a side note, this project seems perfect for Tom since the show will end with him becoming Superman, the movie can pick up right where the show ends.)
agreed!

No its not lolIt's the same thing.
Snyder's movie IS the Superman movie at production for Warners, and Brain and Kelly confirmed there's no plan for a Smallville related film.
So what's the difference?
Gotta say: After tonights episode Homecoming, how can anyone doubt Welling?
well of course we all want tom and erica and it would be a dream for it to happen. But wb wants to look at things differently and from what we know so far they dont want this new film to have any connections to reeve/routh films, and other takes. IT be its own thing. And i still do say its best for the new film to have it own feet and not be tied down or heavly nodded to reeve/routh/welling/cain/etc.... takes.
With the right actors and direction I am sure the next lois and clark will do well.

Wouldn't it just be amazing if they do get the parts for the movie?http://www.movieweb.com/news/NE2ePlQ7JoDc57
synder does not deny that the new flick will be tied right after smallville. jesus if this happen and tom & erica are cast i will faint! i bet any $$ nolan and synder were watching the 200th last night.
t: I can't wait to hear more about the film over time. I usually don't get impatient about things but I have been a little bit about this. That is hilarious. They just spun Snyder's words.
Because Zack never mentioned Smallville there (because it obviously has no relevance to the Superman film), the writer of the article said he didn't rule it out.
No its not lol
No plan for a Smallville movie, as of yet. The producers are still open to the possibility, and its doubtful that if the movie had ties to the show that 1) They'd even be involved or 2) Would have any clue to the whereabouts of the movie. We just recently got a script, producer, and director. They are still way into the preproduction phase to have any idea what's going on.
All I'm saying is its a bit premature to automatically assume the door has been closed on that idea, just because the producers don't know anything about the upcoming film.
are you a smallville fan or just always a debbie downer?

I'm a realist.
Why post misleading information?
Well he hasn't said "No smallville cast will be in the film" As opposed to him saying Routh most likely won't return. There is still hope.
