Heroes Strike Thread (Post all strike related news in here)

Well, Zach Quinto was supposed to left around ep 8 (if I remember correctly) because of Star Trek, but now with the strike, at least we could get more of Sylar...

I was wondering about that....

How different will the second half of the season be if they do infact get Quinto for the whole half season?

Wow! A half-billion dollars? And they can't afford to pay a very small amount of residuals on DVD sales? There is seriously no logic in this whole thing.

They won't lose millions cause of the strike. They'll literally make more cause they'll just go to straight reality /game shows and those are cheap as hell to make, and they'll still pull in roughly the same amount of numbers.
Shut up! Don't give 'em any ideas! I want Heroes back. ;)

Thats the problem with this strike now too, with the popularity of reality TV some of these networks can last alot longer then they would have in the past without the use or writers, which blows.

Yeah, but not forever :p Star Trek could end principal photography before the strike is solved.

How much metal is he carrying there?

This is inevitable (since it also suspends production of other shows), but it still sucks. The fact that Heroes' creator is a member of WSG means that it is a foregone conclusion that this series will go on hiatus if the strike is immient. The last time WSG went on strike, it took 22 weeks before it was resolved, and I hope this time it won't be as long. Otherwise, many shows might be cancelled in the end, or the viewers will lose interest in those shows (particularly ones that have an ongoing storyline like Heroes), and it will spell doom for them after they return.

No matter what, this is a lose-lose situation for everyone involved, esp. the fans.

Aw man, I thought when they said 3 episodes left last night; that is was 3 episode till a break. :(

Yeah, I was hoping for some kind of temporary haiatus, or even an extension of the season into the summer break, seeing as how we seem to be getting a break of sorts now. :(
