Cya, later on, Memphis.

See....this always devolves into personal insults when you run out of answers..... Did I insult you intellectual capacity??I just posted something concerning how creation, order and complexity demands an intelligent mind behind it.
Instead loading up on insults, why don't you respond cogently as to how order can come from nothing..........
Because the Theory of Evolution is not synonymous with theories pertaining to the Origin of Life. The Theory of Evolution is concerned with changes in genetic traits from generation to generation, it has nothing to do with explaining how life came into being. However, since you seem obsessed with that idea, I will point out that the Miller Experiments proved, circa 1953, that under the correct conditions, inorganic material can combine to form organic molecules.
See, unlike others, I don't pretend to know. In fact, I don't care. How life originated has no bearing whatsoever on Evolution's legitimacy. To turn this into a debate on the validity of other scientific theories, notably the theory of the big bang and theories pertaining to the origin of life, is intellectually dishonest.
And since the Theory of Evolution doesn't claim that it did, to use that tactic to discredit the theory is asinine. We're not speculating as to the origins of the universe here.
I can't beilieve that in 2007, with everything we know, that a creationist is still using the watchmaker argument. It's not 1696 anymore. You're going to have to do a little better than blind assumptions where everyone else is trying to discuss this intellectually.Says common sense.
Example: You see a building. But the builder is nowhere around. You can't touch him, see him or smell him. But you have to know that that structure with the plumbing, the wiring, the exact measuerments etc, didn't just pop outta nothing. There had to be and intelligence behind it. How much more complex and balance is the universe we live in. How you can look at nature and not see a perfectly run machine is beyond me.
Wishing God away does nothing.
You may not, but there are those who say evolution was the basis for the origin of life. I do not believe that is the case. Did spieces evolve/adapt. It's either evolve/adapt or die. Survival of the fittest.
Those people don't understand the theory and are contributing to misinformation.
If there is a god, he/she designed life on this planet to adapt/evolve.
Why don't creationists see that?
how come *people don't believe in evolution if...
we have genes that a) do nothing b) come from ancestors that were different species like lizards or whatever c) are shared by other animals
I hate arguing over evolution but I'm just curious why people don't believe in it when the proof is in the pudding. Our genes are like a history book for evolution.
how is evolution a flawed process?
A god can be perfect and have imperfect creations.

I just wonder why God would create the first man through a flawed process, not to mention allow him to come into being over a time period of billions of years. If God controls evolution, it makes him seem useless in a sense. I'd like to think that God created man through through his personal touch and that things like disease came about as man began to poison the environment God gave them.

Diseases are a part of the environment. They're other organisms that man couldn't have created.
Why do you believe God has to be useful. Besides, isn't creating evolution in itself being useful?
What if Adam and Eve doomed us to "a flawed process" then?
