How do you want ''Final Crisis'' to affect the DC universe?

Oh, okay. I thought you were saying Dick had a mullet, but only a very, very, very small number of artists draw him with one. Most have more sense than that and just make his hair a universally shaggy.

I joked about Final Crisis earlier, but I want something relatively simple. I want to be able to continue reading Bruce Wayne as Batman-- I want him kinda dark, but I love how Batman cares about the disaffected of society, anything else that happens, I don't really care. Maybe Bruce can marry another crime fighter or something? I think Batman should still be doing it all--street level all the way up to fighting Darkseid level people with the JLA. Other than that. I don't want any big changes. Well, I guess Mary Marvel should go back to being good (since I get to choose!).

The best thing Final Crisis can do for me is start a trend of good DC books. Come out on time, be written well enough that I want to pick up the hard-cover or maybe the absolute (I'd like an absolute Infinite Crisis). That's all I need. Kingdom Come didn't change anything in the DC universe (as far as I remember), I bet you it was awesome though.

Honestly, if say, Nightwing saw a villian shooting a gun at Batman, whilst Batman was busy fighting another one, and he jumped infront of it, giving his life for Bat's in the process, it would make for

A) one hell of a way for Dick to go out.
B) one hell of an angry and pissed off Batman
C) I honestly think that at this point Tim would either take up the Nightwing mantle out of respect, or he would sink into some kind of depression state that causes his character to get hurt bad via someone like Scarecrow or Clayface, cause Bruce to go even more insane.

I only want Jason's death to be off-continuity, since aparently he was "never" supposed to die. Maybe him going back to the Bat-family for a while since it appears Tim's gonna go rogue-style in the upcoming Ra's storyline. And Batman being a little more darker would be good too, he's a better character that way.

Who says they get any input? They don't own any part of Kingdom Come. If DC allows Johns to muck with KC, he can muck with KC.

Well i know they dont own any part of it but i was thinking that maybe Johns would have to ask them first if he was going to muck with it seeing as it is such a much loved story and it would only seem nice to do so. Plus I have heard Ross is kinda a dick so i didnt think he would let that kinda thing fly and he would complain to superiors or something.

Nah, you don't have to ask other creators to trample over their work. If you did, both Marvel and DC would have to stop publishing comics.

I think (HOPE) Final Crisis will make DC characters age... then bring about the events in JLA #0... I have an itching suspicion they're killing off the members of Young Justice in order to bring them back in the Final Crisis... and maybe take over the mantles in a coupla years...

I think more or less every major story has its own earth. Kingdom Come at the time had no effect on continuity (it was Elsewords, which is what DC needs to bring back). Now Kingdom Come has its own in continuity earth.

I just think Final Crisis needs to be well written. I don't think you can really clean up continuity, I don't think DC actually wants to clean up Continuity. The multiple earth's allow DC's writers to have their cake and eat it too. You can write any story you want and if fans are upset about the character development or what happened just say it was someone from another Earth. And then sell a four-part mini about exploring that earth.

I don't know Morrison's stance on event deaths (like Millar I think they are usually cheap if the goal is to just have someone die to sell a book), but I'd like to keep event deaths low. I'd like to see the heroes at their bests.

Well no i infact did not date him. I just see this as a oppurtunity to trash Hal when if im already trashing the guy who brought him back. I personally see no problem with trashing hal when you can, he's boring and all "God-like" to Johns and that bothers me alot.
