The Dark Knight How should be the Batmobile for The Dark Knight?

Every Batmobile has been wacky thus far. The one from Begins could have been cool but then they had Batman getting in the floor while driving, and it didn't have fins.

Seeing the one from Begins in real life... so I'm not at all biased ;-), I say stick with it. If Batman's at war, he needs a goddamn war machine.

I liked the alternate position for driving super fast and calculating distances between cars, that was cool.

Yeah, I was hoping for some cool gyroscope-type transformation going on inside the Tumbler when I first heard the description. Now that I've actually seen what it does though, it's incredibly impractical and looks stupid.

But Just Add Gadgets To It
Maby A Sickminded Joker Or Pinq Finds
It And Blows It Up
Then Comes Fox To The Rescue
WITH A NEW Modified Tumbler

But it's not very conveiniant for a moving vehicle, and shouldn't he have electronic targeting systems? And how hard is it to hit a massive pillar with a rocket? It does look silly

Wayne's a rich man, just like all billionaires, I'm sure he has unlimited locales where he could stay at while the Manor is being repaired on. This would be a good opportunity to have Bruce stay at a penthouse in Gotham, like the comics. In turn, this could be a good chance to show off Bruce's playboy side even more. Nothing better than having models be over at a billionaire's lavish penthouse.

I'm glad Nolan added in that last bit of repairing the foundations, it opens up so many possibilities for change.

As for the Tumbler, I'd definitely make it more sleeker and more well put together. Everything about Begins really did seem like a work-in-progress which worked well within the story. But I want things more refined for TDK.

Oh, I could totally see him jumping out of the penthouse master bedroom window at 2:00AM, while 2-3 beauties sleep peacefully in the bed across the room. A note sits on the night stand "Business meeting, had fun -- Bruce."

Now as for the Tumbler I don't mind minor tweaking -- I'm definitely not opposed to that -- I just don't want this:

With the ridiculously over the top fins and bat-logo.

The thing that made the Tumbler SO great was it actually looked like or could do the things that were done in the movie. It made sense and was efficient.

well I am pretty sure it could just push them out of the way. Listen I am not saying they should change it, all I am saying is that if they do they should atleast cover the front wheels. If batman is chasing down a villian all they have to do is fire a machin gun at the front tires. Tires aren't bulletproof like the rest of the beast that is known as the tumbler

That's not terribly important.

The Batmobile is a means of getting from Point A to Point B, and if necessary, from Point A to Point C if trouble comes along. There's a lot more ways of getting past the bumps on the road than simply going over them.

Still yet, a cool invention of nolans and some hate it.

And if its about bulletproof tires, if such a design was made to be a shell of protection and then leave the wheels open, dont we think that its also bulletproof? Some act as if Nolan forgot that.. oh "oops!"
