The Amazing Spider-Man 2 How should the Goblin look???

Oh I see. There's also a pic of what's believed to be where the Goblin emerges from. However from the SDCC leaked footage we all know it's the tank where Max's transformation takes place.

It is true.

The end of the film takes place at a power plant where Electro has "set up shop", Harry suits up in a spiky iron man-esque suit w/ spiky green hair, and the real Green Goblin (Norman) shows up and kills Gwen at the end of the third act.

All this info, that was in Movieweb's articles, have been confirmed by the fact that Electro's power plant hideout and a MP3 player incorporated into Spidey's suit (something else their source mentioned) was confirmed in EW, back in July.

^ But didn't Movieweb's source also confirm that Shailene Woodley was fired back in April and the role recast to another actress (presumably Sarah Gadon at the time), which we now know is not true? I don't think we can believe everything from them. Besides, even if the Goblin makes a short appearance at the end, I really do not believe that Gwen will die in this film.

Weren't these confirmed in the EW issue (before July)?

Wait where'd you hear norman showing up?

lol

No. Since the ASM2/SDCC issue of EW released in July.

Now the power plant and mp3 player were rumored before July (in June), but it wasn't confirmed until a month later.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Harry who does it. Not what I wanted, but I think it's going to happen. MovieWeb has been correct with everything besides the Shailene thing.

True. But in their defense, they weren't the only source/outlet saying that.

Only a few credible sources debunked that and it wasn't until Gadon herself debunked it and revealed her true role that that rumor was dropped by all.

That was before they clarified that it was Harry. What you did was combine both rumors and made it into what you want to happen.

I don't remember them saying Harry would kill Gwen. If I remember correctly they were the ones who kept saying she would die in different parts of the movie and then just said it would be a 'fakeout' and she wouldn't die at all. They also couldn't keep their story straight on the look and identity of Green Goblin. They were also wrong about the transformation chamber.

I choose not to buy into leaked 'scoops.'

They were right about some pretty major things, such as the power plant and the MP3 player. Also, I didn't read it as Gwen appearing to die in different parts of the film, I inferred it as something like there's a scene on or near the bridge where you're made to think it will happen there, when instead it happens at the plant later on.

The problem is that they've been wrong about things as well and changed their story. For example, they explicitly stated that it was Norman wearing the Goblin costume, not Harry. They changed their story on that and the appearance of the Goblin suit. They were wrong about the transformation chamber (and apparently Norman's disembodied head).

CashforStash said Goblin wouldn't look that way. I haven't been on here very long, but everyone apparently trusts him for some of the info he provided. So who's right? There's no telling until the movie comes out. GG might not actually be in it at all. Only teased like other characters.

This disembodied head thing came from CBM. And I think that one may have been some weird thing that was lost in translation.

I honestly don't trust any of 5the rumors entirely.

At the very least, the power plant was confirmed, but there's too much contradiction as far as everything else goes.

There are things to support those Goblin rumors but nothing enough to necessarily make us take it as fact.

Wasn't movieweb the site that also provided exclusive interviews with cast and crew from set visits? Or am I mixing up things?

If Movieweb is right, they're going to piss off a lot of fans. TBH I like the fact that Goblin kills her right at the end as a cliffhanger. Or have him catch her as a cliffhanger. Not knowing whether she'll die or not.

I like this idea - perhaps something combined with this? The Thor 2 pic had my imagination stirred for Gobby for sure!

I gave it a try actually.
