Really? I honestly couldn't see the resemblance at all. I thought it looked like Dane Dehaan when I saw the image of him beside Electro in the poster, but the latest one that came out really looks like Andrew Garfield. Especially because of the grin he has.

Hey guys, I registered to contribute to this forum.

I couldn't help but notice how this "goblin" is almost IDENTICAL to how Andrew looks. I came up with a theory, and I'm going to explain it in a spoiler for you guys to judge.

So you guys remember how in TASM, there was this one shot that lingered at Peter's bloody fingerprints on the ground? I'm assuming that OsCorp managed to find it and extract Peter's DNA from it and used it to create a prototype goblin serum from it. I bet Norman manipulated Harry to use this serum to become a Proto-Goblin and it gave him superhuman strength, and reflexes (minus all of the spider specific abilities) with a side effect of changing his appearance to Peter's. If not for the bloody fingerprint, it is entirely possible that they managed to get some of it from Peter while he was visiting OsCorp with Harry.

Can't believe it! Spiky green hair and a black armor/tech suit! Movie web was right all along! What's next? Sarah Gadon post credits scene? "Face it, tiger... you just hit the jackpot!" Lol just kidding. And I guess there will be a Gwen death 'fakeout' at the bridge and the battle with GG will take place at the power plant?

Seriously though, it's not the best, but it looks better than I had imagined with the descriptions that they were giving. However, I would like to see something more along the lines of the classic suit someday.

Really there is only one thing missing to complete his look but the way some people make it out you would think it looked nothing like the goblin at all

I never wanted an actual goblin in Webb's universe - the halloween-costumed version I mean - purple robes and bright green skin. I'm not sure why he would ever wear a hood, since that would obscure his vision. We'll see though. I'm excited as it's all new

i think norman will wear a mask and look very much like 616 goblin - he'll have reason to hide his identity (famous, thought dead)

plus i see the events of tasm2 leading to a perfected goblin serum, which, like peter, won't change one's appearance

ps. mask etc allows for someone cooper's age to be in action scenes without it looking silly (e.g. palpatine vs. windu in episode 3)

Harry on a glider is just that, and for him it's enough. Though I definitely want something that evokes The Green Goblin when Norman suits up. Love or hate the specific designs, the Spider-Man movies aren't afraid to embrace the comic image at all. Sandman, Lizard, Doc Ock, Venom, Rhino, etc - they are what they are.

I don't know if I'd want him to wear an actual cloth hood,but a helmet kind of like what you see in the manip that Alex_Spider posted above would have made sense and looked great.
Certainly better than spiked hair...
