Well from what I know

The cube WAS supposed to be in the Vault in Asgard at one point, but, it had been moved by Odin for some reason. I'm not sure if the DVD will have the reason it was moved but there IS supposed to be a list of what was in that Vault.

Since we saw in Thor that Loki is deceiving (like he was to Frost Giants) I think that he may summon the Skrull to destroy Earth and in return they get to keep the cube, while in Loki's mind he plans on using the Skrulls as the muscle while keeping the cube to himself..
I think the cube will play more a bargaining chip than actually summoning the Skrulls.

since they made it clear that Asgard is both a planet (eternal realm of the gods) and heaven to the vikings. this opens up a whole wide range of planets and races to explore in future movies.

Asgard, Yotenhiem ,the Skrull Throne world are a little part of the problem. that is 3 so far , and im praying that FIRST CLASS is in the same universe as AVENGERS.

1. This way we can finally see the Shi'Ar empire. and in some respect get a Decent version of the Genuine Pheonix Saga.

2. we finally get a decent GALACTUS instead of a Fartcloud.

maybe cast Brian Thompson as a Skrull general in the avengers sequel .

the Kree Skrull war being led up to during the Avengers Sequel and coming to a head in AVENGERS 3.

I dont think you realize most of the stuff you just mentioned can't and wont happen due to the license agreements that fox has with marvel. So no xmen & no F4 crossovers with marvel studios Avengers.
As far as first class goes, its (at the moment ) a prequel to the xmen trilogy, so the Phoenix saga isn't going to be done right.

they are humanoid anyway not to sound racist or anything but i think seeing people from the empire with slicked back hair"feathers" they could pass it off as modified afros because you can do so much with the hair of a black person . and they could just pass it off as a new fashion trend from paris or something.

You don't seem to realize. Some characters from the Marvel comic universe have the film rights for them owned by several different companies. Spider-Man's movie rights are owned by SONY. The XMEN movie rights are owned by 20th Century Fox. Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and some others that are being worked into the Marvel shared universe films CAN NOT contractually interact with Spider-Man or the XMEN.

They may all have originated from the same paper comic book company....but the contracts with different movie making companies is a whole other deal.

You do bring up the interesting point of, "what the heck happened to the Destroyer armor?" Has that been discussed in depth anywhere else?

I don't think we got to see very clearly what it looked like after Thor decommissioned it, but my impression was that it was fairly intact, and just not working. But basically, all of the Asgardians just went off and left it lying in the crater it no-doubt made in the street.

It would stand to reason that SHIELD took it.

... But speculation on that doesn't really fit in with this thread, I guess. It's not going to affect Cap one way or the other.

altho my friend on the phone today told me that to be honest GAUNDLET would need to span 2 or 3 movies so thats out of the question.
( he is usually my voice of reason)

does any ones have any ideas on what other sagas or plots they could use due to the PLANETARY influence ?.

Yes Gauntlet could span a few movies, but it can be shortened quite a bit since there wouldn't be as many Characters involved.
A great example happened in the Thor movie just recently. The Destroyer fight should have gone on a heck of alot longer, but it didn't.
