I wonder how Bruce will consider becoming a vigilante again. I mean he broke his 1 rule on Darkseid and thats probably the reason he chose to die, becase if he tries to convince his mind that "that was one special case" then he can do that all the time practically? Kill Joker to save millions and so on and so on. Can Bruce live like this? Its an really interesting question when we find more about whats up with Bruce.
i say scrap this whole damn crap story line and start completely over at batman 1 in a nolan like world where villians seem realistic and grant morrison will never be allowed to touch a batman comic ever again

Clarification: I meant how will Joker react to the disappearance. Crime Spree? Epiphany? Suicide? Will he try to help find him?
If there is one tihng I hate about DC, it's the ridiculous ideal that murder "taints" you, as well as an abusive background. Just look at Cass Cain, who turned evil because.....her dad was evil? She killed someone once?Batman is an ideal, and also how do you know Bruce would wish to continue as Batman after committing a murder?
But Batman never killed. Morrison even said so in the interviews posted on Newsarama. The rule Bruce broke was that of using firearms, NOT of comitting murder.

Of course, 'twas all in vain, as we all know that Darkseid is too great a character to keep dead.
Well Batman was a critical part in it, thats why i found the whole "gotcha" thing more ironic, because i saw him murdering the god of evil there, not breaking a rule to shoot the god of evil. :P
