This too.Or the cameo of course could be set up towards their solo film via post-credits of IW

Name drop em in spider-man. Tony tells Pete he's in New York meeting with Reed Richards and Sue Storm about funding a space mission. Peter says he has a class with sue's brother Johnny. That's another thing too. How would Marvel introduce the First family? I think they'd show up in other films first before getting their own. At least a couple of them would.

I'd like to see Johnny around Peter's age, maybe a couple years older. Still, great idea! But doesn't seem likely right now.Depends on what grade Peter is in Homecoming. The youngest Johny should be is 19. Don't want him to be a child
Just keep it true to the tone of the comics. Right now, ideal director would be James Gunn. Guardians of the Galaxy has the same tone.
At first I was gonna say it would be too much stress to work on that and Gaurdians(if theres any sequel after Gaurdians 2. But if the Russos can do two Avengers films and Civil War then anything can happen. I mean I'd certainly be on board with it.
Another director that comes to mind is Edgar Wright.

The Russos are two people directing these movies. Markus and McFeely are the writers. With Guardians, Gunn is writing and directing. Yep. He's doing the job of four people. James Gunn is a very busy man right now.
I think Whedon might like the chance at a Marvel property without the demands of weaving together all the thread lines like in Avengers.
Yup. Same for Whedon, with even higher expectations which were far too high for him to meet. I can't fault him for retiring after Avengers,AoS,supervising Phase 2 and Age of Ultron. He would be perfect for F4 though.
Way I heard it, Zak Penn wrote the first draft before a director was decided. Whedon hated the script and wanted to write his own, which Marvel allowed.Actually, Zak Penn helped Whedon with the screenplay. James Gunn is the only one man army that I know. I wonder how he even sleeps. On top of working on the Guardians by himself, he also keeps in constant contact with his fans, even more than the Russos. I'd be ok with Whedon directing F4. He may be burnt out, but give him a few years and he could make the best F4 movie ever, which really isn't really saying a whole lot, though.
Josh Trank would be the ideal director.
