Deadpool & Wolverine Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine!!!!

I’m torn. On the one hand, it’ll be cool to finally see him in the yellow suit, but one the other, it would’ve been hilarious to have a quarter-century-long run as a very popular character without once wearing his iconic costume.

Hmm I can understand why they would freeze with seeing the Wolverine that costume...but Deadpool? Its the same look from the last two Deadpool movies.

It does look good.

And it reminds me of the Wolverine action figure that my mom gave to me when I was like 12.

At this point, I'm of the belief that he'll probably wear it for like five seconds in a flashback. :funny:

When I was watching No Way Home, I kept thinking, "Is Toby suiting up or not?! Please tell me this isn't going to be like the Smallville finale!" Haha. Glad that wasn't the case. Hopefully Jackman is in the mask at least for a good action sequence. Of course, I want him in it a lot more than that, but we will see!

Best case scenario, he wears it for the entirety of the climax.

He will wear the mask at the end of the movie where he says "I am The Wolverine" (2013) *snikt*
:wolverine:

THAT scene towards the end...

It feels so wrong to bring back Wolverine after what was a perfect wrap up for the character in Logan. Having said that he still manages to shine in this context and more than hold his own against a Deadpool firing on all cylinders. He showed once again why he's a fan favorite and Marvel still managed to give us fresh and exciting stuff from the character.

He was not only The Wolverine but really a wolverine in the animalistic sense of the word. It was the first time I was really like, oh yeh that’s why he’s called that.

Seeing Hugh in the mask and speaking in that gruff voice was like seeing the character leap off the page. 24 years waiting for this and it was worth it, bar some shots where it looked off.
Yeh, they definitely went in afterwards and tweaked the footage. The mask seemed CGI in parts plus the sleeveless look too. So yeh not the most smoothest of adjustments but I guess it was all for the best in the end.

I was really happy with Hugh performance as Wolverine in this film. He exceeded expectations and he really outdid himself. I was so impressed by how he was able to bring even more gravitas to the role.
