Daredevil doesn't need to reboot......it was a good movie.

No it wasn't. If it were, then the movie would've made more and we'd see a sequel or two that use stories like the one where Karen sold him out to Kingpin, and memorable villains like Echo (Stilt-Man, Owl, and Gladiator are too corny imo).
Co-sign. DD was trash. I'll say the Director's cut was better, but it was still sub-par. All of it really irked me because DD is an easy character to get right. He needs the Batman Begins-like treatment, play it straight, respect the material, tell a good story, get out of the way.

They may even do fantastic with the character. (I loved the current films...but Marvel doing it would be amazing)Co-sign. DD was trash. Yeah, but it's never easy with Fox, since they love to micro-manage and could care less about the source materials.![]()
You know...when the rights to Spider-Man are back open and Marvel snags them up....how much you wanna bet they are gonna milk him for all he's worth? They may even do fantastic with the character. (I loved the current films...but Marvel doing it would be amazing)
Well, at least you could be sure that whoever they get to play Spidey, he'll act like the Spidey we all know and love. He isn't going to be a wimpy Parker or almost mute Spider-Man.
Since when does hollywood have any respect for source material?. Some of these movies could've been done so well if the studio execs and writers had actually read a comic book. Whats really galling is the fact that they take all this time to write scripts when if they'd look in the comics the script is basically done for them! Instead we get a directors or producers vision/version of the characters. Just look what they did to Starship troopers. Robert Heinlein is spinning in his grave! They make crap to market to the uncaring public and ignore those of us who actually KNOW who the characters are.
guess what... most people feel that way esp with the directors cut![]()

I'd rather that Marvel just took the vague sequel approach to future DD and FF movies rather than total reboots.
And I know I'm in the minority when I say this, but the organic metal/electrokensis angle wasn't really what bothered me that much about Dr. Doom's portrayal in the FF as much as how the character was written. He was too much of a Norman Osborne knock-off.
No they don't, you are in the minority.
Directors cut? It takes alot more than a few more curse words and some extended scenes to make a **** movie like daredevil decent, let alone good.

Fantastic Four seriously needs a restart. I really hope we get one, once Marvel gets their rights back.
No lame organic metal Doom. I want a Doom that has armor that rivals Iron Man's. With technology that makes even Stark Enterprises looks like childs play.
As for the FF, I'd probably keep everyone except Alba. We need a strong leading female, with motherly vibe that actually fits the part and doesn't look like she jumped out of the Movie White Chicks. Thing needs to be CGI and I want to actually see him brawl and not have the fight take place in a garbage truck.
