Hypnosis: real or not?

It's fake. I think. She may just be playing you guys for suckers, possibly. My friend got "hypnotized" when some guy came. He did a bunch of stuff but the main thing was at the end he kept giving the guy his wallet.

I dunno, I think he was just going along with it. He said he didn't remember...Seems fake to me.

Its not fake. In fact its so not fake the military wont allow you to do certain things if you claim to have been hypnotized because they know it is real.

Generally, no, but I believe it is possible. As with magic, though, I would ask where the actual power comes from!

There isn't anything mystical about hypnosis. It's just a series of procedures that induces you into a relaxed state, and then uses the power of suggestion to get you to do things. If somebody wants o become "un-hypnotized" iit's not hard to do, as long as they want it.

I've heard stories from people being hypnotized before. They said it wasn't like they couldn't control themselves, it's just that everything the hypnoist told them to do sounded like a good idea.
