i second this. I care about the f4 but I'm mainly a DC guy. I like it all though. Still, this news makes me really sad, because i can see the amazing potential of the F4 universe in the MCU

That is so bad I am having a hard time believing that its not some sort of joke. I mean you read about the production and come up with thoughts on how bad it could really be, but deep down you really don't think that they could actually make it that bad. Deep down you have a bit of hope that you are reading into things badly and it couldn't be nearly as bad as you worry it could be.

After reading that I think we can safely say that all estimations on how bad this film could really be have gone out the window. If I found out tomorrow that the film is a true found footage film made on a $6 million budget I wouldn't be shocked.

When the Story films are looking to be more respectful of the Doom character than this film then you know there are problems.

He might be an awesome villain but not an accurate villain.

Nothing is "bad" until we see the movie. It's just in-accurate.

If you are talking about "just random, look its a superhero movie" then yeah, accuracy isn't related to quality, because there is nothing to compare it to....

And the thing is even if it were a random superhero movie it would be a bad idea. Who wants to see a film where 4 superpowered heroes battle an agoraphobic internet troll?

It's amazing how much my excitement for this movie has died down since finding out what Marvel Studios and WB have planned for their movies. I frequently forget this is even coming out next year.

Joker was in-accurate but awesome

The only thing that was truly "inaccurate" from the comics about TDK's Joker was that they swapped the perma-white deformity for a scarred smile deformity and he worse facepaint. Also, his clothes were kindof dirty.

Everything else about the characterization was pretty much spot on in every way possible. Comparing TDK's Joker for a Dr. Doom who is Doom in name only doesn't really work.
