I feel like DC still doesn't know what they're doing

Beyond what we may think of Snyder's aesthetics, the costumes choices that have been made: are you ok with going on with them?

I do not downright hate them but I'd really like a complete overhaul, both to distance the DCFU from the DCEU but also to move toward a lighter look.

Especially Aquaman and the Flash.
Are there any leaked pics of any modification in Wan's movie?

Batman’s suit is good from a design standpoint but it looked cheap at times in JL. Idk how to describe it. The material maybe?

Wonder Woman has the best costume. No changes needed, but I? want everyone else to get some changes for sure.

Because it reeks of the same reactionary cynicism that plagued BvS and Suicide Squad before it. The same "you whined about this so here you go, you ****ing crybabies" mentality that lead to BvS going out of it's way make sure we all knew areas were uninhabited to justify more disaster porn and Suicide Squad being recut by a trailer company to be more like Guardians of the Galaxy. Another half an hour and an ounce of subtly could have gone a long way with how Superman was handled.

It's insulting and frankly I'm glad this movie is a disaster because if Warner Bros is going to treat the fans like they're idiots then they don't deserve my business moving forward.
Their failings are detrimental to the DC brand as a whole and we're going to be seeing the fallout from this for years to come

Having said that, I ****ing hate what it's shaped Batman into in terms of public perception of the character.

I keep saying this. If any comic book writer should be consulted for Batman, Grant Morrison should be on speed-dial. A character that has dedicated years of his life to mastering various forms of martial arts and meditation would be in-tune with himself spiritually, physically, emotionally, and psychologically. And despite all cries to the contrary, there is nothing inherently wrong about Batman having a sense of humor and not taking himself so deadly serious all the time. Morrison understands this, and it's why his work with the character in recent years has ranked among the best.

For me, Batman is a perfectly blended cocktail of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond, with a splash of Indiana Jones.

No it's not normal to my knowledge. Less normal? Hiring a new director to fix a movie after it's done filming because you know the first director put together crap. (Kudos to Joss for at least turning it into something watchable)

So I think we can all agree that the Frankenstein monster that is Justice League by Snyder/Whedon/executives shows that they were still trying to re-work it to make that movie work right up to the last minute.
Even with that it was a financial bomb.

So, to bring this back to why I started this thread, is there really any doubt at this point that DC doesn't know what they're doing? I have to think that over the past month or so DC execs have been scrambling to figure out some way to fix having turned some of the most beloved characters of all time into box often stinkers that people don't want to see.
It just boggles my mind, and honestly I don't think they have anyone capable enough to actually salvage this movie universe, which is really sad because I love those characters (well, most of them)

I agree with everything you said here (except maybe the love of THe Dark Knight Returns which I am not particularly fond of). Morrison and maybe Paul Dini would be great consultants for Batman.
