Comics I just thought of something

actually, its 2004, 2005 by now, probably going into 2006 by the end of the year

you know this if you read the ultimates, who have bush as president (clearly visible) stating that he is in his second term...

If USM goes for another 10 years, then the timeline will change. Comics from each decade have their own references to the time-period. In 2 years, Peter will be making comments about Hilary or Obama as Prez, whereas only a few months will have passed. :p

That's how it works in comics.

I recall a scene in Revenge Of The Sinister Six when MJ was telling Peter to get out of Elvis Costello and get more 'cutting edge' and be into Guns N Roses.

Peter should always stay the same age and references change around him. Christ, do what they did in the post-clone era even and get him back in college or grad school and de-age him a year or two.

Cuz if you wanna get techincal (which I hate doing when getting into "aging" in comics) in Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Peter attended his high school reunioun which would actually put him at 28.

That's not old... that gives Peter about um... 13 years of being Spidey...

After thriteen years of webslinging/crimefighting/protecting the ones he loves by remaining masked; knowing full well what ONE sicko could do with knowledge of his secret ID, he unmasks?! Hello? No matter in what generation he was born, the unmasking still comes as an out of character act, if you have Spidey's life experiences...

I wonder what will be the opinion on the other, sins past, the unmasking...
