which is the better throw away line that for some reasons became popular and quoted? I think "so good" wins, if only for Franco's delievery of the line...although "I kid you not" is a classic :o

when was "I kid you not" said?

Spider-Man 1, the teacher at the science exhibit

when was "I kid you not" said?

The teacher in the first film says when they are on the field trip. "The next person who talks will fail this course. I kid you not. Let's go".

I think "So good" is far better. Franco's delivery was spot on.

well no frickin' wonder i couldn't remember it. i thought we were referring to Spider-man 3. sheeit.

"So good" had the potential to be...well, so good...if Franco wasn't unintelligible in the line delivery. They should've let the guy swallow before recording the line.

The "so good" line is hysterical. He was so full of himself and smug there; that ****-eating grin. It was great. :D

Aww I am a firm lover of the "strawberries" line, but "so good" comes in second easily, with "what are you gonna do?" in at 3rd.

Franco's line was right on the spot. He stole the performance in this movie.

While I loved the "Strawberries" line it reminded of Sean Bean in Goldeneye. That's not a bad thing by the way :)

I vote for "So good". It was absolutely hysterical...the expression on James' face and his delivery of the line was awesome, really made me laugh hard.

"I kid you not" only became popular because of Matt. "So Good" is better because of Franco's brilliant performance!

what was the "strawberries" line again?

When Harry is taunting Peter about kissing Mary Jane. Something about her knowing him so well and that her lips taste like strawberries.

"And when she kissed me, it was just like when she used to kiss me. That taste...Strawberries."

"So Good", definitely. "I kid you not" was simply an interesting cameo that became sort of a cult-phrase (sorry, Matt), but So Good was a metaphor on so many levels (I took it two ways: he's just enjoying the moment, and everything feels 'So good', as well as the revenge metaphor. I don't agree with the sexual conclusion, because as far as I know, MJ and Harry were never involved that heavily... if they were, at that point in time, I'd consider that to be entering Sins Past territory.)

And as many people have said, the line delivery was just spot-on.

This is how crappy the movie was.

I mean, that's my personal opinion. And over fifty percent of the earth's population agrees with me.

"So Good" was amazingly smug. That was a perfect line and got a good "ooooo" out of the audience.

How is there even a thread to debate this?

I Kid You Not Wins. Flawless Victory.

Well considering I don't even remember "I kid you not" and "So good" was, well, so damn good, my vote goes to Goblin Jr.
