I gave up on AoS a few episodes in to whatever the most recent season was. The realization that I was mostly watching it just because it was part of the MCU wasn't enough to keep me engaged anymore.

I watched the first episode of season 2 and stopped. I heard good things about Ward and that Skye is an [blackout]Inhuman[/blackout]. I probably did not need to spoiler tag that.

Is it worth me binge watching?

I've never even seen an episode of AoS. I should probably at least give it a try.

I was selected for jury selection one time....as in, come in to the court, about 3 times over several months, to sit in the observation gallery with around 35 other people for a couple of hours, until the DA came in and said we don't need you today, go home. One time they actually started picking a jury for a trial...the defendant was my doctor....so I was excused from it. Haven't heard anything from them in about 15 years now.

I got selected once. Me and 20 other people sat in a room for two hours b****ing. Then the person comes in and says "The defendant plead guilty to 1st degree murder. You all can go." I was pissed because of the waste of my time and that I missed a murder trial.

One thing I could never quite get over was how almost every member of the team had some relationship with a non-team member who somehow related to the plot or what they were doing. Individually none of these would have been an issue, but when one guy's brother is a senator, someone else's mum is a secret agent, another person's ex is also a secret agent, one has secret powers, another one's grandpa was a Howling Commando... it gets a bit much.

I wonder if saying you're psychic and already know the outcome of the trial would excuse you? After all no one likes to have the ending spoiled for them. :p

What your doctor do?

Yea that sounds like too much was put in place to make it all connected rather then just an organic workplace.

lol. Aos is okay. got interesting half way through season 1 but season 2 gets more interesting

AoS had a drastic change in quality as it went on, it was quite remarkable. I don't remember another show increasing in quality like AoS.

I still haven't bothered to try and watch after the first few episodes.

I like watching the ones that have certain characters from the movies make cameos. Especially Sif...sexy sexy sexy mmmm

I'm not saying don't watch it, and it's true, it did improve a great deal around the time of Winter Soldier. A lot of people enjoy it, it's just not what I expected or want from a Marvel show. Fortunately Netflix looks like it's on the right track, and I really enjoyed Agent Carter.

Honestly I never bothered with Agents of Shield. I saw it as Marvel riding the hype train of the Avengers. "Remember that Coulson guy that you didn't care about until he died, he's back now!"

Now on the other hand, Daredevil is better than half of their movies.

Daredevil is better than most of the superhero movies ever.

Agents of SHIELD kicks ass, if your an MCU fan and not watching it you're really missing out on some good stuff

I've been procrastinating on watching the final two episodes of the second season.

I've been putting off watching any Doctor Who or Hannibal in favor of random lets plays on YT or my writing. :p

I put off shows I'm currently watching on Netflix by starting new shows on Netflix

Don't worry Psych, I'll finish you someday

I have around 40 years or so of tv to catch up on, around 35 of that is Doctor Who.

You've clearly never watched a Whedon show that went beyond the 1st season then, lol. I know AoS isn't technically a Joss Whedon show as he's not the showrunner, but that's pretty much the M.O. for any show he's done: Weak as hell 1st season, increase in quality toward the end of that season, awesomeness in S2.

That's the true tragedy of Firefly's cancellation, imo - not that it was his best show (it wasn't) - but it had the best 1st season of any of his shows, so its 2nd season likely would have been amazing.
