If something happened to Chris who would you like to take over the project? My Vote goes to Brian Singer.

I think Joel Schumacer deserves another shot at the franchise!

Please don't kill me, I'm only joking!

Oh man.... i dont know... that would be bad. Very bad. Theres only a few folks who have the instinct Nolan does. Good luck replacing him.

No Singer please..... thank you.

Singer tanked one franchise no need for him to deal the deathblow to Batman, you sadist you.

Singer did a great job with Supes - but I wouldnt want him for a Batman film...Batman v. Superman though would be fine with a good writer (Jeph Loeb).

I would like James McTiege to take over Batman post-Nolan.

Yeah, Fincher or Mann would fit Nolan's style best - which is something I'd want to stick around for at least three movies.

If Chris Nolan left, David Fincher.

If both Chris and Jonathan Nolan left, David Fincher for director and Andrew Walker for script writer.

I literally had a heart attack when I read the title. I thought Nolan abandoned the film! After all the speculation and discussions?

Don't ever do that again or by god I will get Christian Bale and Heath Ledger to sick on you!

Seriously. If it was reported that Andrew Walker co-wrote the script with Jonathan Nolan, I'd never live to see StorminNorman walking into the movie theater on opening night with a "Bettany Dammit" t-shirt :(.

Joe Carnahan would be most suitable. He would maintain the grittiness of what Nolan has established already. Has anyone seen Narc? Highly underrated film and yet excellent.

That sounds about right.

Yes Fincher or Mann ideally.

This is a morbid thread, at any rate. Mods, if the spirit moves you away from the grab-ass games in the O/T forum, please toss this sucker.

I believe in StorminNorman.

Singer? Well maybe if we wanted a teary eyed, no-heart, Batman then he'd be good for the franchise.

I don't want Nolan to go anywhere.

At least we'd get a semi-classic batsuit :o.

Too late. Letterbomb already sent.

David Fincher would be a great choice.

I would also like to see either Frank Miller. Or Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez.

But not Robert Rodriquez without Frank Miller. lol

Um isnt robert rodriguez that dude with tarantino and slasher flicks?

No thanks.

He worked well with Miller as co-director in Sin City.

But by himself - he's not so good. That's why I said not without Frank Miller.
