so maybe it's been put in.
I actually hope they make 3 Punisher films with Ray and spin it off into an ongoing series like the Soprano's on HBO.
he looks a little bit like tom jane on that pic.. the eyes and the nose...

i think the 2 or 3 days beard could work.. a different hairstyle and maybe some scar on the face and set the story of the movie several years later the other one and maybe it could justify the difference between the two guys.
i hope they don't change the skull though...
it's sound they changed names of the characters but not the stoyline. I wonder if it will be enough to get a better script...or exactly a right punisher script.
In fact,I was in competition to direct The Punisher 2 for Lions Gate (I have a representative in LA ) and I read the script Punisher 2 written by Nick Santora (Prison Break) and cleaned up by Kurt Suttertwo month ago
In order to get a chance I produced and directed a teaser about my vision of this character.
Watch it and tell me what you think about it please :

Damn. When will screenwriters get a clue on what will/will not work. Have they not learned their mistakes from the 1st movie at all?
Ok, I'm gonna have a bit of fun here and ***** about the plot details...
1) Throught the Max title, it seems they've kind of drawn the Punisher away from the Superhero world. Therefore, why do the screenwriters still figure that they need to create some huge diabolical plot that the Punisher needs to stop? I've read all the comics in the Max title and can safely say that the character is a loner and has his own agenda about what to get involved in. That's part of the fun of reading the character is you don't know what kind of **** he's going to start up next. He tracks people down that he doesn't like and kills them. Simple as that. By tying the Punisher into a big diabolical plot, that gives the movie more of a linear course towards how things are going to be resolved at the end. Plus, it offers the oppurtunity for him and the cops to be going after/doing the same thing which I don't like at all.
HELL YEA!
2) The comics always draw out the Police force as being somewhat reluctant to acknowledge or go after the Punisher since on the inside they kind of feel that what he's doing is right and makes their job easier even though they won't admit it. I wonder if Ennis puts abit of tongue in cheek humor into this portrayal since lets face it, what does this say about the character of the police officers? Also, if there was a mass murderer running around killing as many people as the Punisher does in the Max series, there would be a big public outcry. Don't really see how this portrayal really goes with a serious take on the Punisher minus the black humor.
I COULDNT HAVE SAID IT BETTER!
3) Heh. "Special" FBI Agent Luke McDonald and a tubby sidekick?
4) The FBI agent's main reason for going after the Punisher? Cause his partner was accidentally killed. Well come on, guess Frank Castle being a self-riteous stone cold mass murderering force to be reckoned with isn't enough? Throwing an obvious contrived reason out there robs the film of its impact.
5) Dante being Castles allie? From reading the Max Books it's pretty easy to see that Frank would want to kill someone even if they were an excon or gangbanger "just in case" (as he says in 1 of the comics). Besides, he hates anyone whose ever been associated with crime whatsoever. Once you cross that line even once, as Frank says "In the Beginning", you'd better "run".
Yes, even though in PWJ#11 (vol#1) he gave the former associate of Damage another chance, you are right, you better run. What the Hell does Castle need from a loser gangbanging idiot anyway?
6) Geez, the screenwriters gotta tie up everything with a bow by also having Jigsaw go after not just anyone but the wife of Donatelli. Hence, both the cops AND the Punisher arrive at the scene.
I'm sorry to say that this may need to go back to the drawing board.![]()
Once again, I'm let down. First of all we don't Jigsaw, he is the most popular character, but not the best, if he were the best why do writers feel they have to re write him. He's only the most popular because he's the only well known survivor of The Punisher.
You know if they are going to title this movie "Welcome Back Frank" why can't they just use the source material? Why do these got dangit writers have to include over the top plots and added material which has nothing to do with the source material we all know and love? WHY?? These writers suck, and Garth I feel could do a better job as a screenwriter. I don't want people to think Castle is some Rambo rip-off!!!
GIVE US THE TRUE "WBF!"
GIVE US A TRUE BORN SEQUEL!!
Garth if your reading this, Im sorry your brainchild is going to be butchered yet again....
****, what the hell does it take for you got dangit producers to "get it?"
I'm sorry to say that you speak the truth.
rewrite!!!!
Oh hell guys I forgot I did learn one thing at the con that looks like it might be coming true...Chuck Lidell. I can't believe I forgot that. He's not only up for Jigsaw's brother but he's likely got it now. I can't believe I forgot though after the Con each night I visited every bar in the Gaslamp District.
