Can't believe I'm finally doing it. I think it was five years ago, right here on Hype, where I said I would interpret for a living if I could. I'm pretty nervous. Hope I have enough reference material, and I just hope it's genuinely accurate and helpful...

Everything's almost ready, but I need to flesh out this testimonial section on my website.

Ever hypester I have ever looked at a dream for, I need a testimonial!
I was thinking about having it up with your full name, city, state. What do you think?

I also need volunteers to take a look at the site when it goes up. Does it seem hokey, convincing, or what do you think basically.

Edit: Dreamers are asking me about how testimonial format. Here's my suggestions.

1) Do refrain, as much as possible, from saying "Dream interpretation is really interesting". It is interesting (that's why I do it), but try to think about what information you would be looking for before you would feel comfortable submitting a dream for interpretation.

2) Describe in all honesty, what your initial expectations were. Were you just joking? Curious? Very desperate for help? In deep thought over a nagging dream?

3) How did you react to your interp? Did it strike you as accurate?

4) What, if anything, did the interp bring to your awareness?

5) How will that awareness affect your behavior or change your perspective, not only on the dream's message, but on dream interpretation in general?

6) End with as much contact info as you feel comfortable with. Name, city and state if possible. For some reason some people are getting back to me saying they're uncomfortable with their name on the internet, so use a nickname if you wish.

7) Feel free to refer to me by name -- Julia, or Julia Finley. Try not to refer to SuperHeroHype, as the place I helped you. I've never cleared that with Mirko, and don't want it to look like SHH! is endorsing an exterior website.

8) Quote from your dream and the dream interpretation as much as you wish.

Good luck, Honey Vibe! I don't remember if I ever got you to interpret one of mine or not.

I keep dreaming that I'm trapped in my old high school and being surrounded by zombies. What's that mean? I mean it could be just that I watch too many zombie movies though.

I once had a dream that I got stabbed. I turned around to see who my attacker was, oddly enough, me. So I died. My spirit was transported into a void where I was alone with the exception of, you guessed it, myself. I told myself that I had no place here, at that point the floor (of the void, yeah) fell out from under me and I began falling, presumably forever. Meanwhile Harvey Danger's "Flagpole Sitta" played, and when I finally saw the surface I realized that the ground was actually my own face. I fell into my mouth upon which I woke up in a cold sweat and immediately vomited.

Can you interpret this?

I remember dreaming about zombies a lot and then my buddy told me that zombies symbolize feeling stuck in a routine and s**t. Crazy stuff. :o

Oh yeah, and like, stabbing and stuff means you're angry. I dreamt about stabbing random people trying to kill me once and it disturbed me. :o

Good luck with your service but like, really, it's kind of hard to find customers. I find this stuff interesting but I won't go out and pay, I have spiritualist friends and whatnot that are into this so I'm lucky but there are buyers in every market! :word:

what's the deal w/ sex dreams? Are they code for something else in our subconscience, or really about sex?

is this a service that can come with a happy ending?

Wasn't there one about a lady calling on the phone to say a friend is dead, or was that somebody else?
I genuinely don't remember every person and every dream. I hope they find this thread

I had a similar one from before. Zombies denote detachment from life. You may not feel genuinely connected to those around you.

If it takes place in your highschool, there could be chords of familiarity that chose that dream setting. For example, if your old highschool was the first place you started to feel apathetic to your surroundings, it could form the background for many dreams to come, into your old age. Take a look at your own impressions about "zombies" for deeper analysis.

Hope that helps.

I had a dream the other night that my old dog (who died about 4 years ago) was still alive and pooped in the middle of my bedroom. what does that mean?

Some are harmless sex fantasies, some represent your readiness to embrace the qualities that person represents. It does depend on what kind of sex though: homo, hetero, and so forth...

How did you feel about the dog? Was it your best friend, or what did you think of it?

well, when he was alive he kind of treated me as an equal so he never really listened to me. My brother was the one who took care of him. He saw me more as a play mate than a master. When he died, I realized how much I missed him though.

Hi hon,

Stabbings showcase deep psychological injury and wounding. The identity of the attacker suggests that you are literally your worst enemy. You may be murdering your own spirit with thoughts of delusional nihilism.

Both falling through the void and the song enact the process of delving deeper into psyche. This song probably rings true to your way of thinking: cynical, dark-hearted, and self-defeating. There is a certain dialogue that run through both waking and dream life, so if your violent awakening has significance, it suggests the way to begin turning this perspective around is releasing toxic forces you literally can no longer stomach.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything else, sweetheart.

You may be able to determine what waking incident the dream is pointing to: elimination tends to represent the release of negative emotions -- inappropriately, if not done over a commode. One's own bedroom is a concentrated symbol of self, and the dog will represent the basic impressions you retain in your memory. While the appearance of the dog could simply be the dog itself, it should also represent those qualities in yourself.

Here's my hunch: the dog is your own free-to-be characteristic. You said the dog never saw you as an authority figure. It could be that you defied some authority inappropriately recently. The time is not now, to reveal or nurture this aspect of yourself.

well high school was the first place i um....you know...with a girl.

I'm a big fan of zombies.

I used to want to be a teacher, but I've always been scared of the karma that I did to my teachers would come back to me.

Well, I know I'll have to carve out my own niche. I plan on passing down grapevines, for the most part. Also, when people just have a weird dream funny ha-ha, they will just ask friends as a joke. When it's a dream that gives them the feeling "I know it means something", they may want to take it to someone like me. But we'll see, I guess.

My question is what does it mean if you dream that you're having homo sex when your Hetero?

And Interpert thias one for me. it might be a little obvious but wouldn't hurt to see if theres a deeper meaning:
I lived in an alternate version of the Marvel Universe and mostly
everybody in My synagogue was a mutant. We were an Auxilliry group of the X-men called "binei haex" (children of the X in hebrew). I had Super-speed. One day Prof. X. called on me, a freind with teleporting powers, a freind with power absorbtion, and a freind with Empathy to fight a mutant with the ability to split himself ino parts and to emit slime from his body.
Just a pwer Fantasy or something more?

wow, that actually helps a lot. thanks!

Not being facetious here, but was it everything you expected?
And about the teachers, would you say you've always been pretty oblivious to others' feelings?

Just trying to help you figure out these zombies, here...

Maybe. Memory has never been my strength. And if I had asked it would have been years ago now. 05 or 06 I'd imagine.:wow:
