I'm Not Messing Around, I'm Doing Important Stuff in The Superhero Cinematic Civil War Thread - Part 61

$500-600 million seems pretty feasible at this point, at the very least. Could maybe even hit $700 million by the end of its run if competition isn’t too fierce and it remains pretty steady.
$700 million is practically impossible now, depending on the impact of F4 even $600 may be a struggle.

Snyder's Cut of JL I do think was the best of the 3 movies he did and there was stuff I liked. But there was still trash lol! If you stop the movie during that ending monologue by Cyborg's dad, it's fine. But those sizzle reels for sequels SUUUUUUUCK! Especially that 10 minute Batman and Joker argue for no reason scene. Awful. Badly written and looks like crap. But of those 3 movies, it was the best one. It's a shame that the fanboys who made that happen, and Snyder himself, did so in ways I could never support.
Wait until you realize Silas had no reason to die... Like at all.

Hey, I know a franchise Snyder can tackle, TMNT since he loves Eastman and Laird so much! :o

I’m sure the cult would love that.
Snyder's TMNT would probably be exactly like the last two live action TMNT movies but with more slo-mo and less humor and color. :o

They're bad, but I didn't get overtly angry about them. I knew eventually they'd reboot, and we did. And Mutant Mayhem was amazing

Ehhhh.

Amazing is a strong adjective my friend lol. But then again I’m not the demographic that movie was aiming for anyway.

You’re a parent, you don’t count. That’s an enjoyable movie for the children.

If he must have an existing franchise, Mortal Kombat is the only I could see lining up with his sensibilities in any way whatsoever, and frankly, the current iteration ain’t doing much with it.

But here’s another idea! Don’t give him another franchise. :o

My favourite iterations of TMNT are the Mirage Comics, 1990, and the 2003 series, which was my introduction to the turtles.

My dad tried getting me into the 1987 series but it wasn’t my thing.

Nah, his TMNT would have been an R rated nightmare where Splinter is ripping people's heads off with his tail, it abuses slow mo, and has some of the worst overtly masculine dialogue ever that sounds like it was written by a 6 year old

Mutant Mayhem reminded me a lot of the Spiderverse films, not just visually. Really enjoyed that movie

Actually, I hate to say it, but assuming he had no input in the screenplay and he was just shooting it....he may be able to do Mortal Kombat

Why wouldn't you give him another franchise? His two Netflix ones are flourishing. One of them made the same kind of audience impact as Barbie!

Another day another example of @Shinobi Shaw having awful taste that can't be trusted.

Mutant Mayhem rocks. Easily the best non-OG 90's film Turtles. Those little dudes are hilarious and adorable.

Dear boy, the TMNT movie trinity is the 1990 film, Secret of the Ooze (yeah I said it) and the 2007 TMNT animated movie.

Raph vs Leo in the 2007 one was the most intense and emotional scenes they’ve done since 1990, and has yet to be topped.

Plus Sarah Michelle Gellar as April was just peak casting.
