I'm Not Messing Around, I'm Doing Important Stuff in The Superhero Cinematic Civil War Thread - Part 61

I absolutely adore the look, sound and feel of F4 from the trailers, however-- and I'm probably the only one-- I have not sensed an iota of chemistry between the cast.

They need to release a video diary of the press tour with some generic 2000s music.

Ain’t it sad that we got Superman and FF reboots all in the same month AND NONE have a damn soundtrack of original music inspired by the film?

Where is Remy Zero and Chad Kroeger when we need them?

Brother… you’re a Tate McRae fan?

Tie in video games with recreations from the movie and characters not in the movie is also a lost art.

We should be getting a FF First Steps beat ‘em up with Galactus, the Frightful Four and Terrax. Or a Superman game with Corenswet voicing him, Grey DeLisle as Lois with kaiju, armored suit Lex and Metallo boss fights.

We used to be a proper world. :csad:

They weren't the best (really only a select few were legitimately good) but I miss the constant barrage of movie tie-in games. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. It's actually crazy to think that there hasn't been a full on MCU tie in game that wasn't Lego related or a mobile exclusive since Captain America back in Phase 1.

For real Drizzy.

All those Avengers movies and no tie-in games to go with them is a crime. Video games is a major way to indoctrinate the kids.

That's how I got hooked. :o

How do you all feel about movie tie-in games in terms of quality? I remember getting those LOTR games on PS2 back in the day (TTT and ROTK) and I felt like they pretty much sucked. They basically just adapted/expanded a few key scenes from the movies and skipped everything else. Apparently there is still a lot of fondness for them though. I saw some YouTubers praising them recently. I always just thought they were cheap cash grabs but maybe I was just being pretentious. I remember also getting the Batman Begins game back then too but I don’t remember how good it was.

I loved movie tie in games, but truth is most of them sucked lol! But I loved them anyway cause I wouldn't get a Ghost Rider or Green Lantern or Thor game without them
