If the villain actually is a surprise I think it'll be Blackfire / Azrael.

I think the Arkham thing is still pretty important, the first film was "Sins Of The Father" so maybe the second will be "Sins of the Mother" timeline wise this is only a few months after the first film so I'm sure the revelation is still fresh in his mind.

I think someone mentioned the Penguin Arkham episode was reworked and we obviously knew about the Arkham show that got canned so maybe Reeves wants put it into the sequel.

I was saying this too. I think REEVES has the ability to take obscurity and make it awesome. If this were the case with the aforementioned villains you're suggesting, the religious elements fronted with Azreal ( reeves said this time Bruce will have trouble with the Batman persona) taking over vs combat, and blackfire with the corruption.

It's either this, or court of owls or hush. My money is on it.

I'm being dead serious when I think the Batman villains that Malek couldn't play is a smaller list than how many he can. So, fully agreed

I think this is probably accurate for an August to September production start.

At least by March we should get further confirmation of the production locking down studio filming dates and on location dates.
