Having two separate Batman’s running around at the same time makes no sense. Pattinson will be the DCU Batman if they continue on with the plan.

Okay but like they’re not gonna give Pattinson baby face prosthetics beyond normal movie makeup. It’s not an actual problem that he looks older now lol

Well, of course, I don’t expect anything like baby face prosthetics. I’m just saying that Mike is talented with makeup in general. Even with subtle details.

With the script for the sequel being completed, I think we will start to hear a bit more in regards to spin-offs.

Obviously Tomlin helped write the script, but I'm sure Lauren LeFranc would also be given the opportunity to read it in regards to a second season of the penguin or something else entirely.

That’s what I was thinking. A direct adaptation of the comic would probably be at odds with that directive, but putting Gordon at the center (which would make sense, as he’s not yet Commissioner) could be right up their alley.

Throw a notable villain or two, a Catwoman subplot and a Penguin episode in there and bank off the success of the universe.

If HBO can make the random cop dramas they usually make, GCPD feels like an easy slam dunk and they should be ashamed of themselves if they don't do it.

Gunn is absolutely being indirect about Battinson. “Everything is in flux right now” is not a concrete answer.

I think it's super obvious that he actually would love to be able to fold Battinson into the DCU and relieve himself of the burden of having to create a competing Batman at the same time, but is also trying to be respectful of Reeves and give him space to do his thing. I think there's a reason he gives wishy washy answers even as he denies it, and also doesn't seem to be in a particular hurry to get Brave and the Bold off the ground.

Loved Penguin obviously but wouldn't have minded if it mostly stayed In Part II and we got the GCPD or a Catwoman spin-off in Bludhaven

Clicked on the trailer the other day randomly, it still gives me chills.
