I'm Reading Your Stuff: General News and Discussion Thread

I agree.

I never had an issues with how Robin was adapted in Batman Forever back in the day.

The awkward thing about Robin's adaptation , is that Chris O'Donnell is clearly looks a 20 something , while being adopted by a 30 something year old man .

It wasn't till a bit late that I realized Chris O'Donnell was only 3 years younger than Nicole Kidman ,
Oh yeah, the adoption part may feel a bit odd... :whoops:

I wasn't aware that O'Donnell and Kidman were only three years apart in age!
Well... "movie magic" I guess? :funny:

My favorite version of this involves another Robin.

Brenton Thwaites as Keira Knightley's son in the 5th Pirates. He's 4 years younger then her. :funny:

He did, but a broader conspiracy doesn’t necessarily equal the Court.

The rabbit hole that Matt may be referring to could be multiple things. Though, I believe he means as Bruce Wayne. For example: diving into his mother’s history which could lead him to investigating Arkham as well as the Elliot’s.
I'm betting on something involving the founding families (Wayne, Arkhams and Elliots) and the foundations of Gotham, Reeves is subtly taking a lot of influence from Gates of Gotham.

Has Tomlin's cryptic photo been discussed?
This got me playing detective. It's probably nonsense, but here's my train of thought (or delusion...).

I assumed that the visible numbers, including those in transparency, are:
556 - 714 - 737 - 806 - 144 - 806 (again)

Unable to find any logical connection via the alphabet or dates, I was about to give up when I saw that Tomlin's previous tweet was an upside-down smiley face.
Taking this as an implicit invitation to reverse these figures, I then tried applying them to the monthly Batman comics, and here's what I got :

• BATMAN #655 : First issue of Batman & Son, ... yeah, talk about speculations. :funny:
• BATMAN #417 : First issue of Ten Night of the Beast, where Batman is more or less force to kill if I remember this well...
• BATMAN #608 : First issue of Hush... Yep.
• BATMAN #441 : Third issue of A Lonely Place of Dying, but if I'm not mistaken, the first one to have Tim Drake as Robin... Yep again.

I have nothing for the number 737, which is the only one that remains unchanged when turned upside down. So maybe there's indeed something else here...

Again, I'm pretty sure what I'm doing doesn't make any sense, but it's fun. 😅

EDIT : Nevermind, apparently Tomlin is just watching The Matrix on a flight.
I was fooled by people who claimed it was about The Batman Part II. I didn't recognize the original shot as I've only seen the Wachowski's movie once and have forgotten pretty much everything about it...

I won't delete this major fail though.
This will be my warning about the dangers of overinterpretation and "intellectual" wandering. :funny:

I’m not tired of Joker yet. We’ve had a lot of Joker content in recent years but the vast majority of it has been underwhelming or downright awful. Barry’s Joker falls under that category presently but I want to see more before I pass judgment.

But a movie set in Arkham, with Joker as the big bad, and based on the game and graphic novel sounds fantastic to me for the third movie.

Torn on any Arkham stuff here because it was great in The Batman but extremely trashy and dumb in Penguin.
