@Snow Queen just got to the bat-signal to explain about the s4 Riverdale storyline where her family was living in her mansion walls to make her think her dead twin brother was in fact still alive.

OK so hear me out, in season 4 they find a doll that starts moving on its own and supposedly haunted by her dead triplet who she ate in the womb and then it turns out to be her psychotic-con-woman-brothel-owner mom who has been hiding in the walls of their mansion since last season when she forced Archie and friends to live out Most Dangerous Game and fight a bear and Betty's serial killer family, THEN in season 6 the doll returns because they need to use it as a vessel to hold the spirit of Abigail, her ancestor who was burned for being a witch and was summoned by her grandma to possess her and take over the town but then grandma kinda backed out and so they tie her to a post and burn her and the soul goes into the doll and they keep the doll soul in the cabinet until the end of the season when they let her possess Cheryl's body again so that she can explain to them how to stop the comet that's hurtling towards Riverdale as the final act of the interdimensional Confederate wizard they handed over to Satan in the previous episode.
