That Harvey Dent would be in The Batman 2 is very obvious when you saw the end of The Penguin.

Just saying, if it’s a story about fathers and sons and how Harvey is ultimately destroyed by the toxicity passed down to him from Dad… Bruce could also be in a position where he has to learn to be a Dad. That feels very coherent to me.

I would like to see a full film of Harvey Dent before his transformation. Save that arch for the 3rd film. Hopefully we will get to see the friendship with Bruce developed first. In my opinion, it would pack a bigger punched whenever he does transform into Two Face.

The fact there’s no indication they’re casting another major lead for the villain makes me wonder about this.

This is huge if Gilda is in it. She is vital to Harvey’s original story and the key to making it so much deeper.

Quick reminder: Matt didn’t say he was using a villain that hasn’t been done before. He said that the way the main villain is connected to Bruce has never been done in a movie before.

This is the perfect opportunity to actually do Two-Face correctly and I’m all in for it if true. It would be great to set him up as the main villain of Part 3. Also, the makeup effects for him in the future would be absolutely amazing.

I still think Hush is the main villain.

Yeah, Gilda was never really just Harvey's love interest in Long Halloween/Dark Victory. More of a co-conspirator. Very ripe for a modern adaptation where she is very much his equal.

I could see the "twist" being that Harvey is responsible for some of the murders/crimes/whatever the plot hooks are and then ultimately the twist-twist is it was Gilda, not Harv. Whatever the inciting incident of the story is, I bet you anything it'll be her.

I wouldn't be surprised if it somehow involves the list of Carmine's associates mentioned in The Penguin; apparently, it includes police officers, city officials, and of course, Oz.

Wasn't that kinda actually the twist from Long Halloween? Alberto took fall because he wanted to look tough, but it was really Gilda and some Dent.
