Incredible! Ang Lee's Hulk better than Superman Returns!

Dont listen to these people. Both SR and Hulk have their strengths and weaknesses. Go see the movie and decide for yourself. Supporting comic movies like these helps keep movies like the poorly created FF harder for the studios to justify making.

I am definately going to see SR myself, i dont care what anyone says about it, i'll make up my own mind.

Hulk was not better then Returns, but it didn't compeltely blow. i never thought i would fall asleep at a Hulk movie, but Ang Lee proved me wrong.

I saw SR and am Here to say SR and Hulk aren't in the same league. This is comming from a guy who doesn't like Supes and is a big Hulk fan. SR kicks Hulks ass.

SP: Coming, not comming. In SR, he doesn't kick anybody's ass.

ang lee's hulk sucked big ****in-g a-ss................i cant wait for the new hulk movie thats will come outthats not even close to ang lee's bomb of a movie..SMReaturns rocked and im not even a superman fan

Superman Returns was a drag with mediocre acting and weak direction. Special effects weren't anything new. This film doesn't bring anything new except a bastard child and Richard - who was pretty decent guy.

hulk was worse. For once superman can beat the hulk-either way they were better then x-3

Can i just ask, the people who disliked SR, did you like X-Men 1 and 2?

I liked both X-Men 1 and 2 but totally loathed Superman Returns.

Hulk better than Superman Returns? Without a doubt.

I didnt like the Hulk at first, I saw it this weekend and my opinion has changed. I liked it alot the second time around. Did I like it better than superman returns? Yes I did. Supes was good but didnt really do it for me. There was soemthing missing from it that I ant quite put my finger on. The original supes movie was much better. I still dont understand how he lifted up the continent that was filled with kryptonite. Makes no sense to me.

The Hulk is a great character driven movie. I thought it was a little slow but for good reasoning. The movie really fleshed banner out. I really hope the movie isnt remade. I would like to see the story continued.

I told you so Iceberg, if only some others would follow your example and watch the movie again.

I was just wondering because some people on the hype just dont connect with Singer's style in movies, i'm still going to see SR regardless, i think i will enjoy it.

Hulk had some flaws but damn... it did have a better story/action than SR. And singer did a good job on the first 2 x-men movies. Hell even the 3rd x-men movie is some what better i think. I don't know why singer did what he did to superman. He made it all boring and the child plot just didn't work.
Why singer?!

I dont think it was boring.

Hulk is better than Returns though both suffer similar faults (taking themselves too seriously and pretending to be deep when theyre essentially not).

they're also pulling in similar box office, but don't tell that to the smug SR fans pre-conditioned themselves to love REturns no matter how sloppy Singer put the film together.

I'm a little unhappy with how unfairly hulk is viewed as a bad film but Returns gets placed alongside 'classic' status right away by its most zealous supporters because it's superman, and that's all. Both are flawed and are doing rather suckage at the box office. This is the truth. I'd say Hulk works as a film much better than Returns though.

Well i really liked SR, though i would have to see more times before i could truly judge it. I'd say it was on par with Hulk at the moment though.

I think the dvd will be out early late october, early novemeber. Im pretty sure after watching the film several times at home, many opinions will be changed.

i think that both films are actually quite similar and i'm expecting people who lliked the hulk to also be fans (or at least share a similar opinion) about superman.

what you see as faults i tend to see as their strengths in taking the seriousness of the characters and worlds they are both placed in rather than making it light and quite care free and typical 'hero kills baddie' type films.

I dont see how they are simililar, but thats just me. IMO the hulk is much deeper, and has a much better story.

well they both stay off showing the glamourous side of being a superhero, while one movie sees the character as a threat, the other sees it as a saviour.

two sides of the same coin but they both deal with what i would like to think of as realistic threats to humanity as well as paying more attention to the effects of having a certain abilitiy has the people you care about etc.

spidey delves into this but it's focussed around love far too much, so much so that it actually affects the powers which i feel is going down the wrong path.

I dont think no one in the hulk movie universe would consider him a hero lol. I did think in one scene he showed hero qualities though. When the jet was about to crash into the goldgate bridge, he jumped on it to bring the jet down. Great scene.

I still think these 2 movies are far from similar. The hulk delves into one mans struggel to deal with the monster that lives in him that he cant control. Superman deals with, real estate and baby momma drama lol. IMO hulk is better. I did like supes though.

even though the hulk didn't really act heroic, he's still a superhero aka a character of fiction from a specific genre, that's what i was really getting at.

fair enough
