The industry buzz talks echoes similar rumblings The Dark Knight got before release. Nolan simply owned the zeitgeist that was in need of a dark, cynical movie with the Dark Knight. Can he recapture the same frenzy with a changed audience that craves optimism, hope and adventure?

It really could touch deep with people.

I wasn't even alive when man landed on the moon but just hearing stories and seeing footage it really is just the pinnacle of human achievement. As a world people watched it in awe. And we have become so cynical that it seems unlikely to ever have an event like that in my lifetime.

When watching the trailer the whole notion of the idea that we've just sort of stopped exploration and just sort of accepted our place is so fascinating to explore and if done well could make people look and be like "hang on why aren't we attempting this?". Watching these movies and sci fi TV shows are the closest any of us are going to be to exploring another planet which to me is just devastating.
