I checked out of that thread the minute I saw that annoying **** break into his normal schtick of "no one agreed with me the first time, so I'm just going to list random examples every few days until someone does and I feel validated". I have watched essentially no standup specials, aside from Chappelle on Netflix and whatever **** pops up on The Comedy Network when I'm flipping through channels. And I think one Dane Cook special like 13 years ago, since my friend bought the DVD. We're not friends anymore. It just never occurs to me to go out of my way and seek them out. Because I am a broken man.

Hell has frozen over. The new transformers movie, Bumblebee, is sitting pretty at 100% on RT.com. Granted only 17 reviews are in but when you consider that the average tomato score for the franchise has been an abysmal 29% this is a great start.

I can't say it looks terrible... But I've been waiting for THIS kind of Transformers film for so long that at this point... I just don't care anymore. I'll catch it on Netflix etc.

To be fair, Wendigos are horrifying enough on their own. I think we're good. Scotland gets a cute little dinosaur, we get cannibals who turn into superfast flesheaters who can't be killed. Cool deal.
