Invincible - Part 1

At least he got a chance to be healed outside of his Dinosaurus form. The poor guy who is the Bruce Banner to Dinosaurus' Hulk gets no love. I can't even remember that dude's name because no one wants to talk to him. lol

Dinosauraus pretty much handed his own ass to himself by scrathching at and biring Thragg......then yeah, Thragg king onged his jaw....

Anyway.....and adult cartoon with Clone Wars Animation, hour long true to the comic tv show would be amazing.

Allen is no joke. And Thragg is even stronger!

Allen is cool and all, but I don't like that Saiyan type power he has where he gets stronger after every beat down. I like him being on the level of the Viltrumites, but at some point he should be able to own them easily with that power. It makes things too easy for a comeback.

At some point Allen has to die lol. Im on TPB 10 I think Im coming close to the invincible war.

When does the next TPB come out? I've been avoiding the monthly readings to wait for the big infodump, but I'm wondering how long it'll take to get here. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they handle Zandale.

Wow, that **** with Bulletproof's parents was intense!

And I'm gonna need Eve to stay "chubby" forever :o

Yeah I started getting upset... then I remembered everybody else's back stories lol

It was kind of refreshing actually. This book is usually gory and upsetting, it had been too calm for a while now with all that Rex/Amanda stuff.

Been collecting these trades on and off for awhile and finally got enough that I started reading them.

First two trades are fun books but seemed sort of... meandering. I was beginning to wonder if this series had an actual direction or what but then I hit Vol. 3 and whoa **** just got real! And man the last page of issue 12... *sniffles* :csad:

This is good comics.

Just finished issue 104 after a very long reading marathon, damn is this comic addicting! There have been a few misses with the later issues but the positive far outweighs the negatives. I just want some more Dinosaurus!!!

Issue 105: Yeah that Thragg business is going to come back to bite Nolan in the ass.

So...I'd like to talk about what happened in issue 110 but the topic is kinda against hype rules so I'm gonna need a mod to weigh in before I go and get myself banned lol.

Yeah. I think that they'll let us talk about it as long as we don't go overboard with it, but at the same time I'm not sure. That whole subject could cause a "ban first and ask questions later" type approach.

I'll just say, Mark got "cupcaked" last month and it was not as intense as I'd been led to believe. I mean, cupcaking is a serious crime and not to be taken lightly(/PSA) and I've heard dudes at other forums saying Kirkman shouldn't have made Anissa so attractive b/c it takes away from the severity of the act.

But TBH, I'd prefer Mark to be with her over Atom Eve anyway, cupcaking aside :o

Are people around here still into this book? I read a ton of TPB's and stopped after a while. Now I hear about how #111 is this major jumping on point so I thumbed the issue to see what's doing. It certainly got bloody and out of control fast.

I was just curious what the longtime fans thought about it....

I just bumped this thread last week so at least E-Man and myself are down to talk about it. The title's as good as it ever was IMO. 111 is a good issue to jump in on given the traumatic events that went down in 110(see the above 3 posts about the cupcaking :ninja:) I prefer Mark single, as I do most of my superheroes b/c holding down a family just makes them targets.

From the bits that I've seen of the past couple of issues. I'm just thoroughly disgusted with how Kirkman's writing has degraded in both Invincible and Walking Dead. It's like reading a terrible 90's comic all over again and I wish that it would go back to the tone of how the book started.

I haven't read 111 yet but I was under the impression that the next few issues were gonna be Mark putting his life back together.

Not if 111 is any indication.

That's a common complaint that I see a lot of around the internet about those books. It's part of the reason I stopped reading the Invincible trades. I didn't want to waste money if the quality took a dive.
