true but it has to suck when you are sitting on big news for a long time and cant say anything.

If it was indeed Ryan Phillipe this entire time, then props to him for keeping it quiet.

same goes for Charlie Hunnam. Props to whomever was able to keep their casting a secret.

Was Charlie Hunnam rumored at some point? I only brought up Phillipe because of the pseudo-slip from last year.

Charlie was a fan fave for a very long time. I still want to see him pop up some point but not as Danny. Maybe as captain marvel before he gives his powers to the better captain marvel? Idk

I dunno, I would prefer Charlie as Danny over Capt Mar-Vell. The OG CM should be older, IMHO, anyhow. Mid 40s.

I can see Charlie as Ghost Rider or Iron Fist. Either or is fine by me just get him in the MCU

He's got too much on his plate to do Iron Fist right now. It's not happening.

i would be really shocked if they do have a person. As we really didnt hear much if anything for casting of danny. Like we did for some of the other netflix guys. We had at least 2 or 3 names we know was in talks or tested for marvel. Where as we really only had nothing.

It's not gonna be a name as big as Charlie Hunnam. I mean, NOTHING on the Netflix/Marvel track record suggests it would be. It will most likely be some C-list TV actor who has had notable good performances in the past. And I say this with affection toward all the leads they've cast so far. They were good, recognizable to some even, but FAR from "stars," and none of them were playing the lead in major Hollywood films. They've cast bigger names in supporting roles (Rosario, whose schedule only permits a few eps at a time, and Vincent, who didn't have to make a series-spanning commitment), but not as their leads.

ya they all done a few tv shows and films. Now sure they are not some big A lister like sam jackson, michael douglas or leo and brad pitt. But still quilty folks.

Charlie Hunnam isn't an A lister in movies. TV yes. Pacific Rim and Crimson Peak didn't do gangbusters in North America

hair color is least of worry for me. As hair is a simple thing to change with wigs or hair dye and what have you. first is the actor right for the role and second if they treat the character right.

I'm just wondering if I get to see him punch a dragon in the heart. I think we can all agree that's the most important thing.

I hope so, it's such a major moment. I don't know how they're going to do it but that's not my job lol.

The actor who plays Iron Fist will be.. BLONDE!(maybe)

But what kind of blonde? Full blonde? Blonde spikes? Full platinum hair? Inquiring minds want to know!

Yup, which is why I want Michael Roark for Iron Fist!!!

It doesn't have to be a B grade actor (in terms of fame not acting ability). Ryan Philippe could get the part and he was in big blockbuster movies, bigger than the movies Hunnam has been in. That didnt stop him from starring in a TV show on abc network.
