This was the first time since the SDCC '15 Batman v Superman trailer where I had an audible reaction watching a trailer. I literally yelled "YES!" at my computer. Hot. DAMN. I am hyped!!!!

Perfect timing for the trailer as I have just finished Luke Cage, like what I see a lot, action looks very "Raid" like, which is very very good in my book. Cant wait for this now, gotta feeling I will love it.

Not going to lie, the emphasis on "grounded" and deviation from the source material has me slightly nervous. I thought Luke Cage's show suffered where they really deviated from the comics (different personality, different backstory, and what was the point of making him from Georgia???)

To me, the emphasis on real world issues and the allusions to Black Lives Matter was the highlight of Luke Cage (and could easily fall under the "grounded" category). The trailer shows a glowing iron fist (which I was skeptical we'd see), so I'm not too worried.

Whoever's doing the voice over still sounds cliche from the first trailer, but other than that I'm ready.

Just saw the trailer, and it looks awesome! Not at all very familiar with Iron Fist, so I'm definitely looking forward to being introduced to the character.

Love it. Got me as hyped as I dare to be. And I guess we can count either Yu-Ti or the Thunderer (whoever was doing the voiceover) as confirmed. Probably Yu-Ti.

And was that Madam Gao? Is she supposed to be Crane Mother? That's super interesting.

Makes sense. She did beat the **** out of Daredevil in the first season. And the drugs she was selling had the sign of the Steel Serpent on them. Gives me hope that Marvel does actually sit down and plan these things ahead.
