I can see that. It is an odd trailer. They seem to be focusing more on the "Batman" of Danny's story, as oppose to the stuff that separates him. Also, while the action does look pretty darn good, it did seem less impactful then the scenes from the second trailer.

That might be it, though for me it was more Arrow than Batman. Also, I did not care much for the music. But still looking forward to it.

The trailer was lit

Jessica Jones isn't really a fighter like the other Netflix Defenders characters. Her show is more of a detective show with a character that happens to have superpowers. I think the lack of action scenes is understandable in regards to her show.

Luke Cage needs to hire some action scenes with more imagination.

I wanted to see more of Cage busting through walls, hitting people with large objects and being more like a one man tank.

Jessica Jones does have action scenes. The problem is they are poorly conceived and don't make a lick of sense. (Her body can take jumping 30 floors, but can't take a hit from a 2x4 from a woman with very little strength).

Luke's are fun for the most part. But again, a lack of execution.

The funny thing is, the action Jessica Jones should be easier to pull off. Same for Luke Cage. No need for intricate action like DD and Iron Fist. But it isn't even close.

By the time we get to a live-action Batman show or David Mazouz becomes the main character of Gotham- the latter of which probably won't happen- people will look at that and say he's just borrowing from Arrow and Iron Fist.

Gotham is garbage, Arrow too.

My least favorite Netflix trailer, but it started growing on me towards the end. Overall I'm kinda disappointed, some of the acting came across like a CW show. Finn's accent was off in the beginning. Oh well, show will probably end up great.

That's what I thought. I feel the editing was a bit clunky early on and made those moments fall flat. Overall the trailer was obviously trying to sell the point that this wasn't DD/JJ level dark.

Ok so I totally wasn't expecting that particular tone to the trailer or the music selection but I love it! It's everything I didn't know I needed. lol The fight scenes look awesome, Colleen looks awesome and Finn looks like he's gonna make an awesome Danny. I'm excited!

It was a good trailer but I actually prefer that first teaser we got last year. Something about it lacked "punch" ( pun intended) for me. It may have been the dub step music honestly. Haha.

No, really. That’s what Arrow is all about. Rich white kid gets stranded, is presumed dead, his dad dies and he trains in martial arts before returning home to run his family company and rid his city of corruption while wearing a lazy green outfit meant to pass for his comicbook look until they give him an upgrade. What the hell?

True, but for Marvel to emphasize it so much in the marketing of another one of its own properties--especially with Iron Man being the linchpin for basically all of its MCU success--is either smart and intentional, or unobserved and strange.

Not sure which one I think it is.

I'm rolling my eyes at the Arrow comparisons. First of all, that's an insult to IF since Arrow is trash. Even at its best, Arrow was just an ok show. And the differences between the two are great enough that any similarities are merely superficial. It's a lazy comparison as far as I'm concerned.
