I think a look like this would be perfect for Danny. I'm not against the current look, but this would be ideal.

Also, what are we thinking in terms of release date, March or April?

Hard to say for certain. Daredevil S1 was April 2015. JJ was November. Then Daredevil S2 was March 2016. Luke Cage is very end of September.

If Danny is going to hook up with someone that's not Misty (at least at the start) I'd much rather it be Joy than Colleen, for obvious reasons.

That's great news. If there's one good thing that comes out of Agents of SHIELD, it should be that his high quality work gets noticed. He's a great fit for this show too.

I'm still optimistic we'll get Danny and Misty together sometime, whether it be in Iron Fist Season 1, Defenders or after that. If they were able to have Matt have an interest in Claire, and then also have him be involved with Karen and Elektra, they can do the same for Danny. Maybe Joy will be a quasi-love interest before Danny gets with Misty. It's just a little off-putting to me that they are letting Misty get with Danny's best friend before Danny and Misty possibly get together and possibly making Danny and Luke eskimo bros. Hopefully they find a way to figure everything out.

Iron Fist appears in the Avengers Academy game in the Daredevil event.

Note that Daredevil and Jessica Jones have their Netflix costumes. I don't really like this look (looks too armoured, and the black neckpiece is similar to Daredevil's season 1 red suit's neckpiece). I don't think this will be his costume on the show (Luke Cage's costume is also different than his show appearance).

Though I do like this version of Elektra and how they managed to work in her traditional headcloth:

I do wonder why there's no Luke Cage panel as well? Perhaps they'll incorporate LC into the Iron Fist panel somehow...maybe via some surprise appearances.

They already had a panel at this years SDCC. They might have a little something for Luke Cage but this is Iron Fists time lol.

Oh, I know that but there was also an AoS panel at SDCC, yeah? They will be at NYCC as well. And I'd think they would want to build on the hype with LC premiering just a week earlier. I'm not expecting or wanting a LC takeover, lol. Just maybe a surprise or two, like we saw with Iron Fist at the Luke Cage panel.

And they seem to be keeping Henwick's natural dark brown hair and not dying it for Colleen's typical reddish-brownish color. Hopefully she can use her sword and give Danny a haircut lol.
