Cautiously optimistic for this. That little teaser looked good but they're gonna really need to come out swinging on this one to win me over. I want balls to the wall kung fu action choreography and I want Danny in his damn outfit early in the season, NOT at the end.

Have to say, this was quite a surprise for Iron Fist.

I think we've all known for that character is was just a matter of when. I would have guess Daredevil or Jessica Jones, not Iron Fist. Very interested to see where it goes.

I really like the teaser, interesting camera work goes a long way. And coming out September 7th? That's awesome, feels like they just finished filming. Only question is do I binge this or play Spider-man on PS4?

... There's no question of course it's gonna be PS4 Spider-man, still I'm pretty excited, I love it when the first announcement is so close to premiere.

Well, now I'm eagerly waiting for Iron Fist season 2 (something I thought I'd never say) and waiting for clip descriptions.

That teaser had more effort put into it than most of the first season maybe aside from the finale. Hopefully we don't get any more board meetings to boot. I'm still not enthused for Iron Fist, but it seems like this season will at least have some semblance of a pulse.

well, penultimate ep, tbqh. The Davos stuff seemed too genuine for the rest of the show.

I have a feeling if they choose to drop DD 3 this year, we'll get it in December to fit with the "every three months" release pattern Netflix has fallen into with the Marvel shows.

A fourth clip showed Danny Rand and Davos in K’un L’un, fighting one another for the honor of becoming the Iron Fist. Both wore a proto-Iron Fist mask as they fought, until one yielded — or died in the process.

1. The teaser showed that the fight scenes are improving. Which is good.

2. I really hope that Marvel don't waste Typhoid Mary after one season of Iron Fist. They're casting Alice Eve of all people and she has way too much history with Daredevil and Kingpin and plays a major role in the Shadowland story (which is what all of these series should be building to) to waste her as a villain for one season. Seriously hoping that they don't pull a Cottonmouth with her.

3. Surprised at the lack of Orson Randall and Lee Wing. Possibly for Season 3? And bring back Lewis Tan since we still need to see a demon erupt out of him. My ideal Season 3 would adapt The Last Iron Fist Story, The Mortal Iron Fist and Samurai Bullets while also getting into Colleen's estranged relationship with her father and her mother's ties to The Hand while fighting Celia Ricadonna. And introducing the Sons of the Tiger whose amulet will go missing at the end of the season where it's found in the final episode by Hector Ayala who'll reappear in Luke Cage. Season 4... that should be Danny and Elektra heading to K'un L'un to liberate it in an adaptation of The Seven Capital Cities of Heaven.

I agree. Though I wouldn't mind the season opening with Danny going after former hand members who've turned to crime in the wake of the leaders dying. Like that's what he's been dealing with after Defenders.

Yes, this is the only way I’d enjoy it being brought up. Unless Elektra somehow makes an appearance... I’m just happy Bakuto is toast and won’t show up again.
