I gotcha, I'm on the same page.
But what's that bit about supergirl, she was the one who landed the ship? Is that why one of the pods was open?

According to the comic book tie-in, which you don't necessarily have to consider canon. Since I didn't read it, I don't, and it doesn't affect the movie any.

Interesting, did not know that. I saw the open pod and figured that would play into something later. Thanks for the info.

I haven't read the prequel comic in a while but in the comic Dev-em had sneaked onto the ship and killed everyone except Kara and when the two of them were fighting, the ship had crashed. On the case of the suit being on the ship, I think that the Jor-el AI probably had it made while he was giving all the exposition to Kal.

Yeah, although it's unclear in the comic whether it was Kara or Dev-Em who survived the crash, or both.

Did anyone like the suit reveal from Smallville a bit more? Even though the dialogue was a little over the top, I liked the imagery.

No, because it made no sense.

Everyone gets old. Even Superman.

I was talking that visual part in particular, not the entirety story wise.

Btw, it's crazy what time does. Tom is starting to show his age.

I was scrolling down the page fast and at first I thought that was chris nolan.

Both the visuals and story didn't make sense to me.

I think it's more like he isn't taking the steps to hide his age like he needed to before since he isn't working.

:') I don't care what anyone says I fleckin loved Smallville. Well...bit n pieces of it. I didn't like a few seasons but 1,2,8,9,10 were (from what I can remember) pretty darn good!

I've only seen a few episodes from the first season, but I couldn't watch more. I really didn't like it.

I just feel the film didn't build up to that moment with him in the suit well enough.

That's fair enough, I started watching Smallville when I was in grade 4 (about 9years old) and it was my first "Superman" ish experience so it's mostly nostalgia i'm sure.

I liked Seasons 1-5 and 8. They did a good job on Brainiac and Doomsday. I think Erica Durance was a great Lois too.

Really what I didn't like about those middle seasons was the witch plot. Never thought it was cool even at a young age..
Yeah I too liked Brainiac and Doomsday. The guy that played Brainiac was really great and I love that episode in one of the later seasons where he comes from the future to show Clark his future.

Oh and Erica was amazing...really played Lois well and boy oh boy was she easy on the eyes..
