Yeah, I think there's one in my "area" that showing. But it's too much of a drive to go see it.

Regarding War Zone, if it does alright with limited or wide release. I wouldn't put it past LG to keep the series going in a direct-to-DVD fashion though. Then again there is the SAW factor.

And the only reason that happened was because the new president of Lionsgate was just trying to piss off the old one who like Midnight Meat Train. Lionsgate is being run by children.

true kable but not out here,,,I think only some theaters played it not a lot.

but with 3 previews on the internet,,Lions Gate should have had it in at least 3 movie this summer. Batman & both Marvel movies (HULK & IRON MAN) for sure.

Well, I thought it should have been fully pushed out with a full trailer in front of movies, but then again WB just released the teaser to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last week and that comes out in November. So I would think that they may have a full trailer in theaters any time now. Maybe with Death Race?

That is pathetic to sabotage a flick because the president is holding a grudge against the previous one.That sad to hear too since the midnight meat train (which could be one of the best horror movies of 08)looks alot better then saw 5 which god knows lgf will try to put in every theater.

The more I look at the trailer, the more its starting to grow on me. Then again, I thought Blade:Trinity was gonna be good judging by the trailer and we all know how that turned out. Either way with the budget being so low (12 million dollars I think) it shouldn't have a problem making back its budget as well as making a little profit at the very least.

Jeez..what's with this ' i wish Nolan would have directed the punisher movie' crap?

In my opinion, he's the worst choice for a Punisher movie.

Yes, i know he's done a great job revitalizing the Batman franchise,but there's one major problem on those two Batman movies that i don't want to have on a Punisher movie as well...namely the action scenes.

Yes, i know that there has to be more in a Punisher movie than mindless carnage, but in my opinion, part of the appeal of the punisher character is to see Frank deal with nasty characters in a very violent way.And it has to be shown on screen.

And we wouldn't get that with Nolan.For some reason, Nolan still can't shoot an action scene that he doesn't want to obscure in some way.

Nolan can't shoot a good fight scene, that's one reason he shouldn't do a Punisher movie. Besides, like he would even direct a Punisher movie anyway, it's a moot point.

This is going to be greatit kinda remind of SinCity,The Killer,HardBoild,Rambo 4,Robocop and any classic 80s action picAnd I love Jet Li but War kinda suckCrank was ok and those movies didn't go direct to dvd.PS I agree with you guys,Nolan is a great director.But he can't direct a good martial scene yet.The Dark Knight is still great thoughPlus comparing TDK to PWZ is like comparing Diehard to HardBoild.One has a great story and realistic action,the other has a good story and eyecandy action.

as much as i dig christopher nolan, he was one of my favorite directors long before batman begins, he is definitely not the ideal director for a punisher film. i'd love to see david fincher do it, but he probably wouldn't. alex proyas could be a good choice i think and somebody like tony scott or david cronenberg might work. brian de palma would be fantastic but that's just me dreaming again.
