That happens to me too. Sometimes I can do it volentarily.

Happens to me all the time, mostly when I shut my eyes really really tight. I'm sure it's just the blood rushing next to your ear. Shutting your eyes really tight constricts the blood vessels, and makes them run faster temporarily.

It's pretty sad that I may be the closest thing to a doctor on these forums, and all I've done is consider going pre-med for a week.

Try doing it after a big yawn. If you close your eyes really tight and then try to move your eyes forward or cross eyed, it should work. It'll be kinda of a high pitched sound, like that of a tv or a florescent light.
