The Amazing Spider-Man J Jonah Jameson in the Reboot

They may allude to him or something, but if they save his debut for the sequel, go ahead. Or give him a cameo towards the end.

While it's hardly Spidey without him, they need to differentiate from the original movies. That doesn't just mean new characters, that means keeping the characters from the first movie to a minimum. And didn't Peter not meet Harry until College?

No JJ?

This movie will make $50 million.

Yes, cause what will make it or break the movie is the boss of the main character. You know, the superhero one, that kids want to be and the audience cheered and stuff. :oldrazz:

well i did have his action figure, lol

I still have the JJJ action figure from the 1st movie. You press the switch on his back and he flails his arms in a fit of Spidey-induced rage and all the stuff of his desk shakes. :D

Who the hell did C. Thomas Howell get cast as then?

I gotta admit the lack of JJ is a little disenchanting, but I guess we'll see how it goes, surely with the Bugle being present in the film, we'd get at least a mention.

Better not be Ray Cooper. If they incorporate Carlie "Boring as Wood" Cooper into these movies before Mary Jane. Just barf.

Well... If Gwen Stacy dies in this one, they could use Charlie to set up for a romance in the second movie...

I don't mind that JJJ won't be in the movie, just start with a safe approach with this movie before adding more important characters.

No, just no. Stick to the classic love interests in the films. No Carlie, No Norah (and I adore Norah so that's saying something.), but ESPECIALLY NO CARLIE. Especially considering she's nothing more than Gwen Stacy 2.0.

Betty, MJ, Gwen, Felicia only please.

Not to worry. TSSM gave her plenty of love.

Yeah SSM was really good in doing the high school stuff...

the film could possibly start off with Spider-Man being unknown to the citizens of New York. After all of the events occur between him and the Lizard, towards the end of the film, he may find a Bugle paper with a photo of him in bad quality, it may also have an ad saying that they're hiring for a web designer/photographer to get pics of the mysterious "Spider-Man", the film ends with him walking through doors and the camera pans up to show the Daily Bugle

I'd be fine with that. I got three movies with JJJ, I wouldn't mind if he sat one out. He's important to Peter, but not crucial.

He was more comic relief than anything in the Rami films...

Wow no Jameson in this one? That's going to be interesting but I don't think it will make or break the movie.

if he is so young then i dont see how JJ could work.

ya....this is only the first chapter talking about high-school life of Peter Parker, so no part time job, no JJ that's normal

I think he's around 15 or 16, he's in high school.

I think that Peter will be senior, because there's no way anyone is gonna think Andrew Garfield as a beliveable 15 years old
And maybe he is gonna be in college in the sequel (where I suppose he will meet harry and mary jane)
