Bond is technically a superhero. I wouldn't define the term merely demonstrated by a man with powers and a costume.
Bond is a super spy and a hero that has saved the world many times. This site shouldn't be defined by just comic books and stuff.
It's called superherohype and Bond IS a superhero in his own right.

Agreed. So much history with comics, movies, and games among other things regarding both. But like redhawk23 said, it's all about whether those sub forums would be active. The Trek threads are pretty much dead.

With trek VS Bond let's remember Skyfall was more liked by fanbase than Into Darkness.Strong segments of trekkers don't like Into Darkness.I showed it by putting my money where my mouth is by not buying the DVD first time i ever did that to trek film.Meanwhile I did buy Skyfall when It hit DVD.

I hope we get some more gadgets this time around, even in the car. Mendes seems open to this, based on the DB5 appearance.

I like how Q's first appearance in Skyfall mirrors Q's appearance in Dr No. In both occasions he's just given bare bones equipment - a Walther PPK. The transmitter is still early days Connery, which he received in Goldfinger.

So I'm hoping Whishaw Q is called into M's office to hand over some standard issue equipment, ala the FRWL attache case scene. Something grounded of course, but something funky. Concealed weaponry.
