If it's just a Halloween party--and unless he threw it himself--it strikes me as a nothing burger as well. However, this is the type of thing that can be easily twisted into something. (Looks around thread.) It does help me see Disney's POV more, I suppose.

The difference between Gunn and Singer in this regard is Singer (and Roland Emmerich too for those who care) was notorious for throwing parties with extremely youthful young "men" for years and years in Hollywood. There was always something creepy about what was going on.

Now as someone who recalls Halloween college parties where fraternities encouraged Greeks to dress as "professors and students" .... let's just say I can easily see how this could be out of context. Or not. But maybe Disney has a point as so many are just willing to throw gas on the bonfire.

What the discovery of this picture demonstrates to me, is that regardless of whether people will give it a pass or not, Gunn needs to inform Disney of anything else out there that could be used against him or to attack him so they can at know how to address it ahead of time. Whether there's an explanation or context around it or not, they should know.

At least that way Disney can say, " we know about this, he's addressed this to us , time to move on" .

It could be that that's already be happening behind the scenes , if it isn't, it should be for Gunn and Disney's sake.

There's a BIG difference between dressing sexy and dressing like a child.

How many parties have you been to where women dress up as "sexy" versions of kids? A sexy maid or mail lady is a completely different story.

Can't tell if you're serious or not, but a bunch of 20-year-olds all the same age dressing up like that a party doesn't bother me in the slightest. I didn't participate in the costumes (I wasn't in a fraternity) but I know enough who were (sororities too), and can vouch they weren't creeps.

Well just like here, the costumes are a little weird and possibly inappropriate, but it doesn't mean anything illegal is happening either. They probably just thought it was funny. I'm a live and let live kind of guy, and my general attitude as long as everyone is of consenting age and no one's being hurt, you do you.
